Yah but it is the same 3 people trying to convince people that it is almost as nice as WOTP. Most people don't buy it

I actually think it's people from VA trying to pipe in with "advice about the city" parroting what they've already read here (reasoning: it's misspelled 60% of the time).

But either way, I hope you're right about people not being receptive so it doesn't become a destination.

In a saner world, it would be Anacostia, East of the River.

There's a 'King Farm troll' here at DCUM.

And the names of those streets! Oy! "Reserve Champion"? Lol!

Unfortunately no one who hangs out on DCUM can aspire to Kalorama.

Hehe some of the street names are funny. We were just renting for a couple years but loved it. Walked to metro and Safeway and ballet and karate classes, good restaurants, pool, community events for all the holidays. Tons of great playgrounds and lots of open green space. Best sense of community we have had anywhere in DC. Kids were outside playing with the neighbors under dinner time every night. It was idyllic!

No doubt 'bout all that. BUT, how was the commute?

Ha! thank you, I needed a good laugh today.

As a homeowner EOTR, the average commenter on this forum is...how do I put this gently? Not the kind of person who would thrive here.
