I just physically abused my husband

Abuse does NOT have to be physical...what OP's husband said to child...that's verbal abuse...I've lived it...and have never retaliated in physical violence, but my teens have heard what their father's said to me and taken physical retaliation out on their father for abusing me emotionally and verbally...abuse does not need to have 911 or DSS called...it is quiet, sneaky, codependent...
OP...you do need to get counseling...I am currently in counseling but am the only one in my nuclear family who feels the need to heal...you'll figure it out....
