I think this is probably BS, but FWIW, http://www.wnd.com/?pageId=105764. Note, it's not a long form, and it's not an original, but the birthers seem willing to believe it. I guess Kenya is more credible than Hawaii. |
Even the conservatives have said this is a forgery quite a while ago. |
You realize that using WorldNet Daily as your source is akin to using the Weekly World News to write a scientific paper. Give me a break. WND??? Two words... Orly. Taitz. |
I was the one who posted the link to the Kenya papers. Just to defend myself, let me note that I was responding to a direct question, that I noted that it was probably BS, and that I noted that even if valid, it was similar to Hawaiian documents that don't satisfy the birthers. I do not dispute the points you make, but figured I'd leave that to future discussion, which you and 7:51 were good enough to supply. |
Understood. I do find it a little scary how many people believe that WND is solid, factual news. There are some crazy things on that site! ![]() |
Hey don't mess with WWN. How else would I know that Elvis has been cloned or how it was done?!! That's technology that the government does not want you to know that they have. Trust me. No, trust no one. |
All the birther nonsense is outright racism. We have never demanded a President present his birth certificate before. But because he's black and has a Kenyan father and a "terrorist" name, suddenly he has to prove something no one else has ever had to prove.
You do realize that his opponent in '08, McCain, was not born in the United States, right? No one questioned the legitimacy of his candidacy. I wonder why... |
This not showing your long form legitimate birth certificate is nonsense. He definately doesn't have one thats why it's important to throw out the Racism charge to try to scare everybiby off the trail. Racism charges are blood libel. |
Let's accept that he doesn't have a long form birth certificate. Do you deny the legitimacy of the short form certificate that has been made public? |
God your spelling continues to suck. It's definitely. Where is it a legal requirement to have a long form birth certificate in the first place? If the short form is real, then your point is moot. If it is fake, he could just as easily fake the long form. So the point is Moot then as well. What IS relevant is that Hawaii says the birth certificate is real. |
In the present atmosphere of citing Constitutional justification for every action, on what basis can anyone claim that the federal government has the right to dictate to Hawaii the form of a birth certificate? As 10:43 said, Hawaii is the proper judge of Hawaiian birth certificates. |
Ha ha, omg, "blood libel" again! So you're just as persecuted as the Jews in the Middle Ages were? Yeah right. Wow. Just wow. |
It has apparently not scared off the birthers. They probably nod their heads when they get called racist. Why should they not be proud of who they are? |
It appears to be a rarity that one born in Hawaii in the early 60s would NOT have a long-form BC on file at the hospital OR at the state records. Things happen though. But if it true that one doesn't exist and cannot be found, that rarity is all the more unfortunate because all it does is add fuel to conspiracy theorists.
I think it clear that the short form one is perfectly legal, acceptable and fine for all purposes. |
I can tell you that my mother had a certificate of live birth and it was not acceptable when I needed to show her Birth Certificate to Social Security. |
