Uh Oh

I'm getting a sinking feeling. If President Obamas birth certificate doesn't exist the ramifications would be huge. I hope they can find it (or make one up). http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=252833

Yes, and if all oxygen left our planet, the ramifications would also be huge.

But none of these things is going to happen.

A World Net Daily article by James Corsi? You are actually taking it seriously? That explains a lot.

So are tou saying that they can find his official birth certificate?

No. I'm saying that the newspaper article referenced by Corsi does not provide enough information to draw a conclusion either way. The article doesn't say anything about the birth certificate. Corsi's logic (I know that is a strange word to you, so look it up) is that "since they didn't say they found the birth certificate, they must not have found it." Notice that they also didn't mention that they had discovered a brain in your head. Hence, none must exist.

I love you, Jeff.

So since they looked for it but won't say they found it that would make most logical people think that they probably didn't find it.

Obviously if he had a legitimate birth certificate this would never be any issue at all. He obviously does not have a legitimate binding birth certificate. He may or may not have been born in the U.S. Technically, he may or may not be a legitimate President. I personally don't care that much about having a person who technically wasn't born in the U.S. but has lived here for most of their life be a President. Legally it would be a mess and the whole thing is kind of wierd and fascinating. Obama is not a very well known personality. The details of his life are very sketchy and mysterious.

OP is a troll, folks. He/She is just trying to get a reaction out of you. Don't play along.

I am not a birther, but I do think it weird that despite all of this outcry, they have not just released a copy of the original birth certificate to shut everyone up. my guess is something is on the original birth certificate that they didn't want to release (maybe out of respect for his father, it lists the baby's religion as muslim?) clearly he was born in the US, as the newspaper baby announcements would be really impossible to fake.

please - This has been thoroughly debunked. His birth was announced in the newspaper in Honolulu days after he was born. This continued insistence that he isn't a "natural born american" is just bullshit.

Again, you are stating things that simply aren't supported. Here is the entire part of the newspaper article that deals with Obama's birth records. It doesn't say anything about looking for a birth certificate:

: Q:
You stirred up quite a controversy with your comments regarding birthers and your plans to release more information regarding President Barack Obama's birth certificate. How is that coming?

A: I got a letter from someone the other day who was genuinely concerned about it; it is not all just political agenda. They were talking on Olelo last night about this; it has a political implication for 2012 that we simply cannot have.

(Abercrombie said there is a recording of the birth in the State Archives and he wants to use that.)

It was actually written I am told, this is what our investigation is showing, it actually exists in the archives, written down ...

...What I can do, and all I have ever said, is that I am going to see to it as governor that I can verify to anyone who is honest about it that this is the case.

If there is a political agenda then there is nothing I can do about that, nor can the president.

Any way, his birth certificate has been released. Those who think it hasn't are confused.

a certificate of live birth produced this decade has been released, which is the short-form birth certificate that Hawaii recognizes today. a copy of the original one (the longer one, with more details, that most likely was hand-written at the time) that Hawaii keeps on file and he should have, has not been released. that is the cause for the controversy. again, I am not a birther, but I'm guessing something on the long-form original is keeping it from being released (not the location of birth).

The campaign released the birth certificate in 2008. It says that he was born in Hawaii. The birthers now say it is a forgery, even though Hawaii says it is real. What do you do with that? It doesn't matter what you show them, they will always say the same thing. And the more you give them, the more you just feed the conspiracy theorists.

This is the issue. No matter how you slice it something unusual (not necessarily disqualifying) is going on and it's fascinating.
