What people don’t care about is your tragedy competition. Yes, it’s tragic that pro Palestinian mobs are killing Jewish Americans in cold blood on the streets of the US. Yes, it’s tragic that Gazan children are dying. Yes, it’s tragic that Gaza is run by a suicidal, genocidal regime. Yes, it’s tragic that Netanyahu has led Israel down such a destructive path. These tragedies are not mutually exclusive yet you only dismiss the antisemitism here in the US, against two young innocent Jewish people.

The poor Palestinian kid who was murdered in Chicago shortly after 10/7 got tons of national press (deservedly so).

Political violence in the US will always gather more attention than overseas conflicts, especially where the US is not directly involved.

Are you aware of how many US diplomats have died in other countries? The number is not small.

Are you aware of how many US diplomats have died in other countries? The number is not small.

Not PP but I think his/her point is that the number of foreign diplomats who have died here is small.

We actually have a test case for this and don't have to engage in hypotheticals. Google "Hisham Awartani, Kinnan Abdalhamid, and Tahseen Ahmed" and compare the reaction.

That story just seems super weird. For one, no one died, thankfully. But also, the shooter claimed he killed the victims (he didn’t), everyone involved was Jewish, and the victims posted wild Islamophobic remarks afterwards, apparently incorrectly thinking the shooter was attacking them for being Jewish.

I also don’t really care about the outcome of a convoluted situation like that; everyone involved appears to be deranged, though I’m glad no one was killed.
