As with any bad habit or abusive pattern, it's easier said than done to make a change. It takes courage, strength, and will power to do right, and some people don't know how to find it in themselves. They both need help and I hope they seek it out.
normal. my kids think they are pillows. haha!

Definitely. Yoga is all about keeping your posture in check, correcting misalignment, lengthening the spine and a whole lot more. Yoga is good for everything! I wish it was a regular part of P.E. instead of kickball or square-dancing!

You could also get one of those big medicine balls that you sit on...it helps MAKE you sit up straight or you'll fall over! We use them at work to sit at our desks.
Dance, yoga and martial arts emphasize posture a lot...or at least they should be. You might look for more traditional style training that incorporates posture and stretching. Some teachers, unfortunately, leave important things like that out. Perhaps check out some other schools?

I tell my DCs that good posture will help them grow straight up instead of crooked. They like that idea. When I was younger, my mom had me walk around with books on my head...so now I do this with my kids and think its fun.
Also, in moderation, dark chocolate is good for you.
Hot comes in all shapes and sizes.
OP, I've heard vets recommend it. If you've got the money, I don't see the harm. I've given my cat antibiotics that didn't work, so why not give acu a try? I doubt you will get any helpful advice here on the matter. Please post results after you try it.

me too...I'm already on their schedule. Lookin' for more spots around town, though.
Looking for NICE ones that are metro accessible (orange/red).
I won't judge you if you've let yourself go. I don't care if you've gained weight, cut your hair short or are wearing mom jeans up to your boobs....but I might give you a perplexed look if you go to the store with pink curlers in your hair and house slippers on your feet.
You don't need to cut it out of your life, just cut it in half. I still drink wine, eat chocolate and I love french fries. I just gradually decreased portion size over time and increased physical activity...and have lost 50 pounds.
No particular grade, I was thinking of starting a morning class there and trying to determine the best time to hold it. Bu I heard that they start at all different times, so I guess it's a toss up on the best time.

Would you also be willing to work 14-15 hours a day, weekends, and not take any vacation or sick days? Because that is what my husband does.

I have worked those hours for 30% less than what I make now.
