I do enjoy the endorphin high and the good night's sleep and the change in the way my clothes fit. But my BMI is too high -- whether it be fat or muscle -- and I have to get it down.

Jillian Michaels just released two new videos -- sort of as an answer to the demand for a "shred" that would take more than 20 minutes and give a fuller workout, while still providing intensity. Maybe those will help.

I'll let you know.

If you're clothes fit better already, then you are already ON the path to lowering your BMI. Just stay ON the path, and don't give yourself crazy timelines...you'll go nuts. Tomorrow's another 500 calories lost so just keep it up girl!
If would gladly pay more taxes if I made quadruple what I make now. Perhaps then I could afford private insurance.
PP is right. I see too many women set super high weight loss goals and then get frustrated when they don't meet them right away. Stay positive and give yourself snaps for losing inches.

I don't know what's involved with the Shred, but when my students hit a plateau, I get them to crank up the intensity of their movements to a more challenging level. Keep your core engaged, center of gravity lower, and put more snap into each movement.

Also, make sure your drinking enough water.
I said Marilyn was size 16 and considered "ideal" way back when. I have no clue what size Michelle is...but she rocks her curves well.
Little in the middle but she got much back! (I am quoting in a good way).
oh dern, I got excited for a minute when I saw the word salsa. I don't have a favorite, but I'm taking notes on yours!
Mix up your routine so you don't get bored. If you make it fun, you will put more into your workout and last longer.

Little healthy snacks throughout the day will help keep your metabolism up and appetite under control.
Perhaps she is reinventing conventional beauty, and it takes some getting used to. After all Marilyn's size 16 was the social norm at one time. I think the black dress is played down, it's the only color that shrinks anyone. The pearls are classy and her exposed arms show strength.
I read in the Wash. Times yesterday, that stimulus money saved 7,100 state jobs in Va, and health programs were not forced to close down. I for one, am looking forward to a bigger paycheck in April, even if it's only a little bit bigger. And I noticed grocery prices have come down, so that's a slight relief.
DD has a small Spanish vocab thanks to Dora.
Back in the day I loved M.A.C.'s mascara...makes them long and separated. But I've been getting cheapy waterproof Maybelline for the last 5 years~nothin' special except that I can wear it during performances.
I do need some more colors though. My Brazil shirt is the only yellow I have.
stretch your legs for that heel pain. A feel good stretch, not a painful one.

Today's bad is DS is sick with that tummy bug and my cat knocked down my tree for the 3rd time. Good~I had a jam packed rockin' class today. I am buzzzzed and feelin' good. DD is cooking us dinner...aww.

I get a mean face for liking the ad and noticing other anonymous, insightful people? thanks!

Yeah, Zumbamama, I knew you would appreciate this-you are one of the few people on this site who seems to be able to be positive, intelligent and insightful at the same time.

thanks. I bet someone will think you are odd for saying that! I think there are a lot of insightful people on here, but they are all anonymous so I can't tell who they are.
