For immersion schools, sibling offered is already treated as sibling enrolled.
Spanish testing has already been completed.
You will get notices, downtown may call you, children under 5 are not required to be in school.
Tell the teacher, no consequences can be i acted against you.
Enjoy your trip.
IMO Prestigious private school are almost always better academically and for college admittance, the trade off/dangers are economic and racial disparity, but that's life.
My daughter cried for 8 weeks, then it switched to crying when I picked her up.
She stopped for a few months, then began again.
I stopped walking her all the way in, it made it easier for her.
I did 3 days a week full day daycare and 3 days a week (sundays) with nanny, it was the perfect mix and made for great socialization and a much easier transition to Pre K-3
I did a nursey nook by breaking out the closet, I wallpapered, it was very cute and had the snoo. My daughter stayed in it up until 2, when I moved the crib to her room.....only for her stuffies to live in it while she sleeps with me nightly.

so don't worry about it, babies don't know their room isn't decorated they don't even care.
PICO is Wayyyy lighter and easier than Diono, Pico needs a head strap as kids heads bend while napping due to rigid position.
The 3R(my nanny has it) is heavy to me, I would not use it on the plane or to travel unless I had to.
signed a single mom whose daughter is American Platinum Pro
Diono is the only ones, and some Cleks, they aren't cheap but we switched and now have 3 for one child (meaning everyone in the family including nanny) has one for the child.
same here, even when my daughter says what the F, her F is not crisp and its PH, so technically not even a curse, cracks me up.
Mine learned it from her bestie, I don't use that phrase lol

Don’t forget about the upcoming Brent reno/swing space.

Definitely considered it.

Tyler/Chisolm will be swinging too.
Brent is first, but who knows with construction.

Please don’t check until May!
Unless you have a connection the list will not update until right before that date or even 2 days after.
After May the list will update regularly all the way until October.

This is the correct advice and yet I will check many times between now and May, as though by some magic I can will the lists to move early. I know I'm not alone, too. Some of us are crazy.

lol, I’m telling you all the paperwork is
Processed by central at the same time they don’t do the first update until May 1st or even right after people who had properly enrolled didn’t see their account info update for over a week in some cases and were going crazy, good luck on movement and getting a the choice you desire.

I know you're right, this is not my first rodeo. I just also know I will wind up logging in to look periodically anyway. I'll also probably submit post-lottery applications, in some cases just to see what waitlists at those schools look like. At this point I just accept that this is how I cope with the limited control one has over the lottery results, and try to laugh about it even though I know it's all futile.

I understand, we are the clowns in this circus, all we can do is laugh and think about moving to Europe!!
Sending you lottery waitlist fairy dust for movement and a good match.

Post it to social media and enjoy the ensuing 15 seconds of fame.

My Pre K3 student and I travel all the time, I had 10 by October.
I told Central DCPS I’m raising my daughter to be a citizen of the world and a student of life and not to call me again.
My principal, her teacher and the school counselor have said it’s fine.
Put in as many sick days as you can 4 consecutive.
No match email yet, but results were available at 9pm ish last night.
