Does anyone in the leesburg/sterling area take those kinds of classes? What age groups do they have them for? And are they pricey?? I am CONSTANTLY looking for new, fairly inexpensive things to do with my little girl and she LOVES music.
Is it possible to condense as much baby stuff as possible to the nursery for the time being? Because if you can put a lot of things there, than it may not clutter your house that much,at least not at first.. If it were me, I personally don't think I'd take the house off of the market.
This post is educational to me!! I had never thought about all of those issues, and we're just getting ready to start taking my two year old to these kinds of places.. which ones are good and clean and which ones are not?
We had started potty training and were doing really well during the day and than she got sick, we put it on pause, and now we started it back up and it was a constant battle... Than I heard and read a few times that if they're still getting wet at night that they may not be ready for potty training.. So we've paused it.. she's only 23 months though.. The putting cotton in diapers is an AWESOME idea!!! I had NEVER heard that before, but will keep it in mind..
I am a SAHM, and my husband works long overnight shifts.. He works for DOJ.. I was just wondering if there were any other SAHMs out there with similar schedules. we live about 45 minutes outside of DC so in order to beat traffic he leaves before 4 each afternoon and gets home about 7:15 each am.. I was wondering if anyone else out there dealt with similar schedules, and what your day to day looks like..
Sorry you guys went through that, My husband works long hours overnights and most weekends.. I know how frustrating it can be to make special family plans and than have them ruined. And to have it happen at the same place twice must be SUPER frustrating!
I agree with all of the pp's who said that it hasn't happened yet.. My daughter's almost 2, but it's more the opposite.. I disagree with a lot of the decisions that my parents made.
I am a SAHM right now, but wasn't always.. When My DD was 2.5 months old, I had to go back to work.. You're right, it's such a difficult thing when maternity leave ends.. But, in some ways, going to work was actually easier for me knowing the love that I was coming home to...
Well, my husband works overnights, so the schedule for my 23 month old and I is a little different.. I wake up when my hubby gets home at about 7:30 in the morning, I hang out with him until he goes to bed at about 8, I make breakfast while Annabelle's waking up. She eats breakfast, while I start my husband's laundry and take whatever I'm making for dinner out of the freezer, than, (usually 9:30-10) we either go to the library, playground, grocery store mall or whatever errands I have to do, to get out of the house, than we come home at about 12:30-1 for lunch time for her, while I cook dinner for my husband and I, finish laundry, iron work clothes, and pack his lunch. Than, my husband wakes up at about 2:30 we spend a little while with him, while he gets in the shower I put the baby down for a nap and finish helping him get ready for work, and get the trash ready for him to take out on his way to the car. When he leaves, I spend a little while just on me time, and than I usually wash dinner dishes and clean the kitchen while she's napping, when she wakes up, I heat up leftovers from what hubby had for dinner, and she eats that for her dinner, than we have baths, play for a little bit, than I brush her teeth, get her ready for bed, we read a few books, and watch the goodnight show on sprout. Than by about 9:30 she's in bed, I tackle whatever other laundry and cleaning that I have, and I am usually working on that stuff until about 11 or 12, and than I shower and spend some time winding down until I'm ready for sleep. LOOONG DAYS..
