Got the same pattern going back decades. Nobody needs to be separated from their parents for a "record deal," this is clearly an m.o. to prey on kids.
This is what I was saying about Rihanna and people here acted like the separation was normal and said the US would not have let the mom stay with Rihanna. BS. These music dudes have loads of money and connections. They could at up a mom of a future star if they wanted.
The only solutions was for Rihanna to live with a dude and his family!? Come on, people.

She was in an industry that attracts creeps and she manipulated them as much as she was manipulated. She was known for breaking ground technically for other black models- but was also known for then not sharing the runway with them. The kind of person who doesn't bring others up along with her when she does well. So it never surprised me that she pretended not to have heard of blood diamonds/Liberia or cared that others were affected by her poor choices.

Separately, I’m sick of influencers. I know a woman who does it and she’s so conceited. I finally cut off all tiktok. At first it was fun and informative, not just annoying.

This is it for me. I don't care what you look like - if your smile is warm and friendly, I like you until you give me a reason not to.

This is some weird gatekeeping with people digging up roles from decades ago with which most people are unfamiliar.
I literally watched this movie with my daughter 2 weeks ago. It’s on amazon prime. A gorgeous Diana Rigg plays the cruel murder victim!
I really didn’t know who she was until the HP movies so it’s been fun for me to see that actually I sort of grew up watching her in different roles without knowing who she was! One of the many talented theater actors who supported themselves with small character roles in movie and TV over the years.

The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie wasn't a small role. She won a best actress Oscar. She was amazing in A Room With a View.
