cardigans for Fall

What cardigans are you all buying for Fall? I'm 45, size 10, and I don't want to look frumpy, but I'm cold all winter and need some cardigans.

"lady jackets" or lady jacket cardigans.

I like a mid-thigh length wool cardian, no buttons or belt. I might buy one in a different color if they still sell cardigans like this, but I still have a thinner black one and a thicker grey one from years ago that come out every fall.

I'm a classic cardigan person. I love the look of the lady jacket cardigans on others in photos, but every time I see one in a store it screams dated to my eyes, even though it's not. I don't seem to see them out and about very often.

People are buying into all the "demure" crap.

Unfortunately I agree. I think the two best options are v neck (sits better than a crew neck collar) in a thin fabric, or going intentionally chunky like the young 'uns. The "lady jackets" look VERY dated

Look at Sezane. You have to get them so they hit at the waist or high hip. They are frumpy when they are too long. Jenni Kayne also does nice cardigans though you have to be very slim to pull them off. For a size 10, look at Sezane.
