This is like saying Oprah is entangled with everyone. Naomi Campbell has been in the fashion, music, and film industries for almost 40 years. She’s in proximity to these powerbrokers because everyone who moves in ultra-elite Hollywood circles is.

If anything, Naomi is a victim and survivor, not a victimizer. It amazes me that no one ever stopped to think what a gorgeous Black teen raised in poverty by a single, unwed teen mom must have gone through in the pedophilic fashion industry. That would require seeing Black women as vulnerable humans though, and we know you all don’t do that.

Naomi has never had anyone looking out for her. I wish she would write a real memoir, but she’s too private and also too aware of the reach of so many of these predators. There’s a reason they wrecked her credibility by soiling her rep. Your favorite white supermodel has done worse than Naomi has, but the Christies and Cindys of the world were protected while the media was fed stories about Naomi.

What the heck is this tirade. I also noticed that the post about Naomi being a trafficker was deleted.

Well, you seem to be here in a Sat night.

She is shady AF. Remember Charles Taylor? I am sure most DCUM followers will not know his name, but he was a monster.

I think she has had hard aspects to her life that have made her hard and not empathetic to others. She was in an industry that attracts creeps and she manipulated them as much as she was manipulated. She was known for breaking ground technically for other black models- but was also known for then not sharing the runway with them. The kind of person who doesn't bring others up along with her when she does well. So it never surprised me that she pretended not to have heard of blood diamonds/Liberia or cared that others were affected by her poor choices.

The victim became the perpetrator.

Kate Moss stated that it was Naomi and Christy T who "took her under their wing". So wrong. She totally befriended a short, teenage Kate Moss and they were pictured together as friends for years.

Exactly. Naomi is so wrong. Kate was not her same look, so was not her competition. Therefore she was able to play nice with those who she did not view as threatening to her look. As many of the top models of colour have even stated 'there was room for one black model per show'.

And how many coworkers have you brought along? Y'all are the most petty, trifling betches and then you act like a Black supermodel should do better than you do?

Stop. Her job was to model, and by doing so as herself, she opened a bunch of doors and cleared a path for others to follow. Acting like she owes you a humanitarian medal-worthy existence on top is putting more unpaid labor on a Black woman. It wasn't her job to lift others according to your standards and where you could see it (you can't prove she didn't), nor was it her job to be a perfect human being, which you are also not.

You can't do any better as a DCUM-visiting troll, and you expect a stranger to do what you can't under circumstance and pressure that would break your whiny betchass and without support/family/financial resources (until she was a much bigger star)? Absolutely fscking unreasonable.

Probably just basic racist stupidity, but this "what is her story" like you've never heard of her while completely defaming her is a special kind of spiteful.
