Looking for recommendations on residential home builders - Howard County? Looking for good price, quality of craftsmanship, responsiveness. Thank you.
We are considering moving to Brookeville, MD, my husband commuting to Silver Spring. I was wondering if other could share their thoughts on living there. Thank you.
To answer your question, I have pulled her from daycare to give her immune system a break. We wash hands constantly. I carry hand sanitizer wherever we go.
My daughter (2 and a half) spent four nights in the hospital after what we thought was a cold. And yes it is from toddler playgroups. They all put their hands in the mouths. She was sick from daycare every month from 8 months on. The reason she was in the hospital was from mono (which I believe she had in April). The doctors never tested her for it. Then she got another virus in May, which her immune system just could not fight off. She had 12 straight days of fever in May. Everyone says not to worry about your kids getting sick and how it can build up an immune system. However, there is something to be said for a five year olds immune system versus a one or two year olds.
I just had my second daughter a few months ago. I have a three year old as well. The cost of childcare for two doesn't make economic sense for us anymore. For other reasons as well I'd like to stay at home now but still keep the foot in the door of my company until my kids are in school. Before giving my notice I thought I'd see if my boss would allow me to work two days per week. Does anyone have suggestions on how to pose this to my boss, company? Anyone have experience doing this?
Can anyone recommend what is needed to pack in a hospital bag for a planned c section? Thanks.
Thanks for the info/feedback.
I hate to be put on antibiotics. What did they put you on? How long did you have the pain in your face?
I'm 32 weeks pregnant and have had pain on the right side of my face under my cheekbone since yesterday. It travels from the teeth to up under the eye socket. Last night it was worse while lying down. I have never had a sinus infection and don't have allergies but I am coming off the heels of a cough/cold. The cough is nearly gone but I still have some residual congestion. Have others have this? Does this sound like a sinus infection or something else?
My first was 4 days late. I've had a complication-free pregnancy (minor aches and pains) but because of some other issues I will likely have a planned cesarean at 38 or 39 weeks.
My husband, 2 year old daughter and I were hoping to do a spontaneous trip to Ocean City (just three hours away) during my 34th week. Is this too close to my due date? What are others opinions?
Has anyone had a cesarean c section with Dr. Wertheim (scheduled or unscheduled)? How did it go? Can you share your expriences? I will have a schedule cesarean in mid-May. I am a high risk pregnancy and have been very satisfied with him so far.
Thanks for the feedback. Why did they make you wait 8 hours to get up and walk? What is an abdominal binder? I've never heard of that...
I am going to have a scheduled cesarean (I find out the date for it next week). Just wondering if those who have had it can share how it went and how soon after were you told to get up and walk? My doctor said it is faster acting and provides more thorough numbness. I had some anxiety about getting the epidural for my vaginal delivery back in 2010. And the anxiety is coming back again for this upcoming cesarean (but I have no choice as far as getting a cesarean. I have to have it for medical reasons).
