Living in Brookeville, MD?

We are considering moving to Brookeville, MD, my husband commuting to Silver Spring. I was wondering if other could share their thoughts on living there. Thank you.

I recently stayed there for 6 months and really liked it. The only downside is having to drive to everything, 10 to 15 minutes each way, so when you get that ice dream craving at night, you really have to ask yourself, how badly do I want it. The drive to SS is roughly 40 minutes.

Agree it's nice but its way out there. Everything is a trek.

There are 3 ice cream places a few minutes a way.. A trendy yogurt place, cold stone, and Baskins robbins

Brookeville is huge. It's linked to the Mill (Tanterra) and it's also the area off New Hampshire Ave. by Georgia Avenue.

I think it's really beautiful. I don't have the nerve to move that far out. If I wasn't afraid of the commute (but I work in DC), I would move there in a minute.
