How old were you when you had your last baby?

| Thinking of having a fourth kid, but I am already 38. I had my other kids in my late 20’s and early 30’s, and I’m feeling worried 38/39 is too old to have another baby. For those of you who had your last kid on the older side, how did the pregnancy go and how did you feel the first few years of their life? Was it way harder than having kids at a younger age? |

Due to multiple issues, I decided against having another one after that, but I did go through a phase of severe baby-lack! |

I hear you! My sweet tiny baby just turned into a 12 month old little tornado climbing and toddling all over the place. I thought that this would be my last child, but I find myself feeling very bittersweet and nostalgic about not having any more babies.
I’m 38 and feeling it. I still want another but I can’t bring myself to actively try. |

37 for my first, last, and only.
I would have one at 38/39 no problem, but we weren't ready for a second then. Now I'm about to turn 42 and I feel like the window has closed for me. |

| I'll be 39 and it will be my 3rd. We have no more room for a 4th (nor does my husband have any interest at all) and this baby isn't even born yet and oh, I already want another even though I hate pregnancy. Hormones are a terrible trick. |

30, two weeks before my 31st birthday. It was my fourth child (had my first at 24.)
I still wanted more children, but Dh didn't. I would have been comfortable having another until age 35...after I turned 35 I knew for sure I was done. |
