How old were you when you had your last baby?

| I had my last at 38. Out of curiosity I added up all the (relevant) responses on each page of this thread so far. The average age is around 37.5. |

39 - turned 40 shortly afterwards.
Second pregnancy was so much easier than 1st 4 years earlier. By a long shot. L&D easier. Recovery was much quicker too. And 2nd child was just a milder, easier child all around so the first few years were absolutely easier than with DC#1. |

| I’m 33 now and think about having a 4th but that would be in a couple years and I don’t know if I’ll have the energy for it. It’s one thing to have one at an older age but having a baby and three other kids to wrangle would be challenging |
