How old were you when you had your last baby?

39, #2 (with a big gap between #1 due to work). It's been fine.

You can travel with your kids, you know. 32 is REALLY young for this area.I would never have made partner, etc.

I should have said "enjoying travel without having it to be kid-friendly!" Kids are still little so my previous adventures like hiking in Patagonia and a South African vineyard tour have not been options

I'm 34 now and up for partner this December.

Traveling with kids is a huge PIA until they are elementary age. And even then- there are likely a lot of things you do differently than if traveling with your spouse or alone

You sound like me OP. I’m 38 with 3 kids, had the last at 33.
No way would I restart the clock and have a 4th right now. It isn’t just age, but the quality of life for all your other kids. Having a (4th) baby/toddler really limited what you can do as a family and the attention and focus your older kids need now as their homework, activities and problems that come up are more complex

I was days shy of 34 with my second. She's about to turn 2 and I've been feeling that baby craze the last few months but I don't think I will act on it. These two give me enough gray hairs! I definitely had more energy with my first at 30.

I’d just turned 34 a few weeks prior to my last.

Last kid at 36 then miscarried an unplanned baby at 46. Was both sad and relieved.

Last one (#4) when I was 35. This was just 2 years ago, so...still in the midst of it.

Kids are all pretty evenly spaced, we've never gotten out of having at least one in the baby and toddler phases for the last decade. I don't feel much more tired than I think I was with the first couple in my 20s. I guess I have more on my plate at work, but also more seniority to just tell others to deal with it when I am busy with family life. Also have much more confidence in parenting and not panicking about baby sleeping, is this normal, etc etc etc.

I had my first pregnancy at age 32 and my last at age 36 I actually think my last pregnancy was an easier recovery (even though I had the same level two tear both times).

I did all those trips in my early 30s, along with endless bottomless brunches, weekend get seats, etc. There’s more than one way to skin a cat, as they say.
