Every one of these killings is heartbreaking and infuriating, and this one, too. The pictures of this young man playing his violin for shelter cats has done me in. May there be some justice. |
| This one is especially egregious. He called out “I’m just different!” in desperation. The police association says the officers did nothing wrong. Inhuman. |
I guess we will find out whether it was inhuman when all of the facts come out. |
Didn't the medic inject him w/ ketamine because he was out of control and he had a bad reaction and died? |
You don’t think the grand jury has facts? |
The grand jury system is highly biased against the defendant. And you know we can't trust the media to be objective when it comes to LE use of force cases. |
Good thing I watched the body cam for myself then. The cop jumped all over this guy for no good reason. An innocent person, not accused of any crime. You can’t detain a person for no reason let alone drug them like a Mexican cartel kidnapping. |
| Great news! |
| It’s about da#n time. |
There has been zero media in this thread. |
Oh all of a sudden that’s a problem? Huh. |
No. They injected a 140 lb. young person with a dose of ketamine appropriate for someone 220 lbs. They shouldn’t have drugged him to begin with, but they definitely shouldn’t have overdosed the poor kid. |
| Also the cops took the time to visit his memorial and take pictures mocking him |
|
Some of his last words.
The officers murdered somebody with a disability. They thought he was dangerous because of how he looked, because of systemic racism in our culture. Elijah did not have to die.
|
| Those cops need to be put away for a very long time. They are a danger to society. |
