Will your DC wear mask to school when Youngkin lifts school mask mandate next week?

It’s the opposite. We can’t wait for our turn. I want to teach without a mask. I am thrilled for the students and my own children. I can be patient since I know it won’t be too long now. Like parents, it was a few loud and vocal teachers who wanted to continue mandating masks for all.

No, actually, it isn't. There are maybe 2 or 3 teachers in my school who want to "unmask" and everyone else is fine and dandy staying masked. We're in NoVa. Our student population is the same way. I think we would suddenly have a lot of kids staying home if masks come off. Our school's parents want masks on.

We unmasked at our catholic 1/24.

Boogeyman never came. Most kids mask anyway.

Agreed. I already teach basically unmuzzled and just virtue signaling when walking around the main office with the chin diaper.

People truly think the hands were the most washed body part in all 2021 when in fact it was the brain.
The psychological damage these covidians forever-masking fools are enduring is worthy of clinical studies.

Freud would have a field day with these specimens.

I dont think you're really a teacher. if you are, god help us. Chin diaper? really?

Our kids' independent ES and MS private school is unmasked as of 1/24. 50% of kids and 90% of teachers are unmasked.

Or you’re just in an echo chamber/have people telling you what they know you want to hear. I would love to see the results of an anonymous survey of parents/teachers on masking at any of the nova schools districts, but of course the schools won’t do them because they’re scared of the results.

Stay safe all. All you forced child maskers, you're free to still forcibly mask your children all you want.

He's a pro-life POS too.

He’s a creepy, grifter who knocked up his SEVENTEEN year old law clerk, lost his law license for a while, has gotten in physical fights at work, and yet when Northam pardoned him Democrats swept it under the rug. “But he needs his pardon to get back his law license”. So?! He DGAF about anyone. He’s so gross. Northam screwed the Democratic Party of Virginia.

His whole response to the pandemic was disappointing too.

And now we're stuck with Youngkin? This state is turning out to be a real sh1thole.

I'm ready to end masking, but this post is a classic example of correlation =/= causation.

Why TF would they survey parents to make public health decisions?

Yes, the increase at the beginning of the year was because of Delta - which is why Northam issued the mandate in the first place (and low % of vaccinations at that point).

And in January, most of the large school districts didn't stop masking. The numbers fell as omicron surge passed - as expected.

No, our parents have been very clear about what they want. So have our teachers. You're projecting but that's about what I would expect from you. Thanks for chiming in, though!

Because these are public POLICY decisions, made by weighing many different factors. Listening to an agency that says you should only eat your hamburgers well done, and seems to only have a risk perspective of only the most extreme 10% of society, is one of many voices to lsiten to. Anthony Fauci is completely out of touch.

It's like you people wanted Donald Rumsfeld to be the sole decider on terrorism decisions, and Republicans when you objected would shoosh you saying, "these are terrorism decisions; nothing can be questioned."

No, it is not a teacher. There are a bunch of no-mask trolls here. You can tell by their posts that they're just a bunch of IMMATURE KIDS WHO SHOULD BE DOING THEIR HOMEWORK right now instead of posting on DCUM.
