I agree. This woman is the ‘everywoman’s’ Face of #metoo. Not the high profile celebrities, but the quiet girl in class who was mocked by the cool kids in class. I see her and think of myself in her seat. I’m so proud of her that I teared up at one point.

They need to withdraw him or face a huge backlash.

Quick, name a circuit court judge on the Fourth Circuit. I'm waiting...

i love you

She said she knew that her assaulter could one day be a Supreme Court judge, so she followed his career?

I know where mine lives. What he does. Where he works. His wife's name and where she works. Where his sister works. I know what his kids look like and where they go to school.

But she doesn’t know whose house it happened in.

Means nothing, sorry. Are you trying to work it out in your mind, or are you floating party line?
This is normal for victims of violent assaults.

DP - I don't know the house where this happened to me, either. I know the general neighborhood. I know the semester of college so I know the year and general time, but not date or even month. I can describe the parts of the house we were in in pretty good detail, now 15 years later, and I could tell you where my attacker works, what he's done over the years, and so on.

Frankly it's frustrating, among other things, that victims have to keep reliving their -- our -- experiences just to get people like you and the others on this thread to understand that this happens commonly.

Fox during break now giving positive reviews to Ford and negative to Mitchell. Says its all on Kavanaugh. Needs to emulate Clarence Thomas. Trump is watching this.

I do. I don't want my family to suffer because of my fear. I take a pill and am a ball of anxiety most of the flight until near the end, but it's what you do for family.

There are many, many reasons people lie. Dr. Ford does not have a single reason to lie about this.

She has a HUUUUUUGE reason to lie.

When she came forward about Kavanaugh sexaully assaulting her, Kavanaugh had not yet been named as a nominee to the SCT. What's your view in regards to her reason for lying, exactly?

Because they are lying about it. Notice how she would not state who hired the Polygraph individual

Oh please, she was referring to her lawyers to get the full name of the guy who administered it. You are grasping for straws. This is devastating to Kavanagh and the R's look just stupid.

Thats not what they asked her. They asked her WHO HIRED THE INDIVIDUAL WHO ADMINISTERED THE POLY

Are they saying Mitchell wasn't hitting her with hard enough questions or something?

This, btw, is why I watch these things on CSPAN and not the cable news networks.

They won't but they should. This is brutal.

Mitchell is doing a great job. She can't do more because the Dems will attack that. All she can do is punch holes in Ford's story and expose her for not being able to remember anything, which she is doing

Does this mean Mitchell is heading to the Gulag?

I agree she is doing a good job, she is being neutral and seeking to establish facts and clarify details. So why is Fox saying negative things about her performance?

This looks so bad for the GOP, but I am curious what Kavanaugh's testimony will look like.

+1

There's no law on the maximum flight length you can take if you have a fear of flying. What a stupid attempt to punch a hole in her credibility.

Who cares? If it's her lawyers that's reasonable. If it's her Congresswomen, that's reasonable, if it's the Washington Post, so what? If it's the big Democratic conspiracy out to get Bart, then it backfired on them because she passed the test.
