Starting this thread after seeing people complain that other threads were being populated with attacks.
One thing I've heard is they did not give out refunds when they canceled the season, and instead gave half as credit. |
| everything. |
| Nothing. We are in another club and I would choose them any day over the social media mega club FCV |
Agreed 100%. |
Loudoun has put in the job description of their directors to patrol internet social media pages and forums to clean the reputation as much as possible. The above PP is a perfect example. There is virtually no one who isn’t currently at Loudoun that will leave X club to actually play for the people who steal in your face. |
| Yes we are looking around and so far out of the clubs we visited, Loudoun is the most stable. |
Best thing to do is search these boards. Then check the Better Business Bureau and internet reviews. Then run a criminal background check on the principals. That's probably a good baseline of info. |
Most stable at cashing checks, indeed. |
| Nothing |
Please post your address and I will send you a check for $76, so you can finally rest in peace and go away. |
| They are too stable |
Closer to $200. Which, for low income families is a lot. Of course, as one Loudoun director got caught posting on facebook from her McMansion porch complaint about the “peasants” being so annoying $200 isn’t anything. Perspective. |
You do realize you were voted one of the 3 most annoying things on DCUMSoccer, right! Everyone is sick and tired of you. |
Fine, post your address and I will send you a check for $200, so you can rest in peace and finally go away. |
I think many clubs did this. It never even occurred to me to complain so bitterly about it. Yes, we were disappointed and yes, getting only partial credit for the following year meant that we lost some money on a season that was cut short by a pandemic no one saw coming, but we were all in this crisis together and I thought about the folks whose income and livelihood was at risk of total collapse, and just did my best to get through this mess. |
