What's wrong with Loudoun Soccer

One thing I've heard is they did not give out refunds when they canceled the season, and instead gave half as credit.

I am a highly functional McLean parent, with a highly functional ECNL DD, and I will gladly send you a check for $1,000, if you please agree to shut up.

Loudoun is not perfect but the alternative FCV is the worst. They favor new girls over established starters bc they have to make good on their playing time promises. We left and couldn’t be happier at Loudoun

Please post your address and I will send you a check for $76, so you can finally rest in peace and go away.

Closer to $200. Which, for low income families is a lot. Of course, as one Loudoun director got caught posting on facebook from her McMansion porch complaint about the “peasants” being so annoying $200 isn’t anything.

Perspective.

1. this is BS
2. if you have proof otherwise, post a link/screenshot
3. if not, remain silent be exposed for the anonymous troll that you are

Yeah, we have really grown tired of your complaining, time to move on.

Someone needs to decenter themselves. For many families of 3-4, $200 is a month of groceries.

Lol. Loudoun staffer in a McMansion. Maybe a log cabin. We’re talking about Loudoun, right?

I think many clubs did this. It never even occurred to me to complain so bitterly about it. Yes, we were disappointed and yes, getting only partial credit for the following year meant that we lost some money on a season that was cut short by a pandemic no one saw coming, but we were all in this crisis together and I thought about the folks whose income and livelihood was at risk of total collapse, and just did my best to get through this mess.

Those clubs also received over half a milli in forgivable PPP?

Loudoun has put in the job description of their directors to patrol internet social media pages and forums to clean the reputation as much as possible.

The above PP is a perfect example. There is virtually no one who isn’t currently at Loudoun that will leave X club to actually play for the people who steal in your face.

Incorrect - I posted this and have a daughter in Bethesda 2004. I like Loudoun. Am I alone ? Maybe - I’m just saying I have personally good experiences. They have in their job description? What evidence can you provide

Is it normal to charge over $100 for all-stars? I would think that would be free, covered by the regular season costs.

I don't know about other soccer clubs, but generally people gave out refunds. The argument of keeping it because we need the money led to lots of anger and boycotts a year later, including many of the volunteer coaches.
I have heard of some people able to talk them into giving out the refunds.

All stars has always been an affordable paid program to my knowledge!

Not sure how a soccer club steals? Are they asking you to prepay in Starbucks gift cards and not compensating you for it? Are they offering a warranty on your car? Are they offering an instant cash offer for your house? Cut the BS. If the director is offering soccer as promised for a price you agreed to pay, then end of story. So what if they took PP loans, probably had to still pay for field space they secured. If you’re not happy with the culture, soccer or price, you’re welcome to go somewhere else but the costs seem reasonable.

Nobody talked about costs but ok

Hey Loudoun hater. I see you’ve started your own thread now after you took care of business with your bottle of Jergens. Be sure to wipe down the keyboard after you’re done, that is if you can afford the wipes since Loudoun Soccer apparently bankrupted you.

#bitterandbroke.

I don't think OP was the winner of that vote but "peasant PP" is for sure him. Derails every thread. I wish he could be banned. It's been over a year.
