Loudoun Soccer is fine.

Hmmm. I don't think this is a reasonable summary. Loudoun soccer has more than its fair share of problems.

There is one prolific poster on this forum who has an agenda against Loudoun due to publicity last spring of them not fully refunding the canceled season due to Covid.

There is one prolific poster who remains aggrieved about that specific issue, but there are also many other posters who have asserted a variety of unethical, non-player-friendly, nepotistic, racist and cronyist behaviors. To suggest that the only complainst about Loudoun are from one poster is not a fair summary.

Most clubs did exactly what Loudoun did, but since it is the largest club in the county Loudoun got called out.

That's not true either. Many clubs refunded or didn't collect rec fees, and made partial refunds of travel fees.

The poster (hater) is either an FCV staff/coach trying to get parents to spend their money at FCV vs. Loudoun or a parent whose kid was cut by Loudoun and they just can’t get over it.

I've made some comments about Loudoun myself based on my direct observations and stories I have heard from (many) other parents who had kids there. I am not from FCV, and none of the parents whose experiences I have relied on had their kids cut by Loudoun - in fact it was often the experience they had attemtping to leave when Loudoun wanted to keep the kid that was so disturbing.

My kid played with FCV, Total Futbol, ODFC, and Loudoun. Loudoun is easily the best administered program around. Logistics are never an issue.

That may well be true - I haven't played at Loudoun so cannot comment on the administration.

As far as coaching, it’s a mixed bag but so are all those other clubs.

I would agree with this. I don't think Loudoun have any excellent coaches, but it's not a total disaster.

Loudoun offered credits. Please stop ignoring that. Loudoun is far from perfect, no one said they weren’t. Harping on Loudoun while ignoring the practices of many other clubs last spring is myopic at least and disingenuous at worst. If your kid never played at Loudoun, bringing up terms like racist and cronyism based on hearsay holds little to no credence. This forum is littered with stories of people trying to leave their clubs and those clubs holding their cards, or demanding payment in full, etc. and those clubs aren’t Loudoun. Again, Loudoun might do this too but they are not unique in that practice. However, I have recently seen a handful of players leave Loudoun and they did so without issues. I am not defending Loudoun as some bastion of soccer and consumer purity but only arguing against ill-informed, transparently self-serving posts by people with an anterior motivation, or worse people that have nothing better to do than to trash a program without any first hand knowledge because it’s a fun pastime.

Ulterior not anterior. Darn auto-correct.
