Loudoun Soccer is fine. There is one prolific poster on this forum who has an agenda against Loudoun due to publicity last spring of them not fully refunding the canceled season due to Covid. Most clubs did exactly what Loudoun did, but since it is the largest club in the county Loudoun got called out. The poster (hater) is either an FCV staff/coach trying to get parents to spend their money at FCV vs. Loudoun or a parent whose kid was cut by Loudoun and they just can’t get over it. My kid played with FCV, Total Futbol, ODFC, and Loudoun. Loudoun is easily the best administered program around. Logistics are never an issue. As far as coaching, it’s a mixed bag but so are all those other clubs. If you live in LoCo and have a boy, outside of DC United, Loudoun is the best program without having to drive far. If you have a girl, then either FCV or Loudoun. There are some other small clubs in LoCo, but those two clubs are the established and stable ones with access to a good variety of leagues at all levels. |
| Arlington didn't refund any money either. We figured the survival of the club and the ability of the coaches to still be paid was important. |
| I saw Loudoun is holding supplemental tryouts in June for 2007-9 girls and boys. Is this typical or is Loudoun having trouble filling its teams? I don’t remember these supplemental tryouts in the past seasons |
I think all teams are having a harder time. Lots of kids have lost interest in sports/changed sports/hobbies during the pandemic. |
You don’t seem to be paying attention - Loudoun Soccer on the girls side from 07 and up is bleeding profusely. The incompetence displayed by the club and its subpar coaches is leading to an unprecedented exodus. In the last two years alone the 05 age group went from 5 tiers to only 2. |
I think they are having trouble filling teams. The prices have gone up. All-star is now $160. All-star teams in some groups are less than 10 kids. People were getting accepted without even attending tryouts(not previous all-stars). |

That Loudoun logo painted on the Evergreen new turf sure looks good!!!!1!!
Some lesser clubs who use it are in for an awakening! |
| How good is Loudoun's U13B first team? We beat their second team handily in CCL. Would like to play their first team, but we're not ECNL, so wouldn't happen unless we saw them in a tournament. |
We? Are you a 12 year old posting here? Huh. Remember Mom/Dad, it’s not you that are playing. It’s your kid. Please focus on raising your kid, not trying to relive your youth thru them. You had your chance. It’s over. Your old now. |
Not reliving my youth, but still a coach to my son. Also a travel coordinator, financier, sports psychologist, trainer, equipment manager, and fan. Must have touched a nerve with you though. "We" is right though. We go through life together. |
Is Loudoun an organization who openly supports Goebbels-type actions? Repeating a lie a thousand times tends to become propaganda. However, there are no Loudoun logos anywhere except your own field at Sycolin Rd. Nonetheless your post shows you have heard things… and none of them benefit Loudoun which is why you have to throw your fallacies around. Guess who’s in for a rude awakening!?

Ignore her. Not even a Loudoun parent, and purely here to stir $hit up. |
Says the clown posting about Evergreen putting a Loudoun logo on the new turf… your desperation is showing and your lying antics to players to retain them at any cost is sad an shameful |
Sock Puppet! |
There is a significant gap between Loudoun's ECNL and Red teams for 08 Boys. The ECNL team is strong. I'm guessing your son is at Herndon. According to YSR it would be a close match, but running up the score against weaker opponents is a little different than playing top teams. |
