Any particular ones for a lawyer with no marketable attorney experience either ? I honestly don’t think I could afford to live on a 40k a year compliance job but I’m willing to look into it. Thanks

Have you looked at the government? Regulatory Counsel, Government Information Specialist, Attorney-Advisor (this title is more competitive) start at GS 9 or 11 for entry level. Journeyman is usually a GS 13.

I’ve applied for many many government jobs over the years. I’ve only gotten one offer, at the BVA, which I declined about 14 years ago. I apply on average two federal jobs a week

If you're already employed, why are you desperate? If you're not employed, apply for unemployment. Many DCUM members have been getting $1000/week for the past year by mooching off Uncle Sam. The unemployment benefits are somewhat lower now, but still ripe for mooching.

I honestly don’t know anymore . It used to fluctuate . I’d assume it’s not very good probably 2nd or 3rd tier now. I did well. Top 5% but that’s no longer relevant as I graduated a long time ago

What kind of ediscovery job do you have? We can help you translate those skills into something else. But just saying “ediscovery” and I am “hopeless” shows an inability to think outside of the box. I’ve been in ediscovery for over a decade and I don’t feel hopeless at all. In fact, I love what I do.

Why would a compliance job only be 40k? I'm in compliance and make 300k. Entry level people start out at about 70k and that's right out of undergrad.
