| Just wondering if anyone's games have been canceled yet due to the gas shortage in VA? We have a 3+ hour drive this weekend, but not looking good right now. |
| No. |
| I just don't see this becoming such a critical situation so quickly. |
| The problem is solved. There is no gas shortage. Or there is only a gas shortage because people are freaking out. It will all be resolved within 72 hours but the panicked aholes will keep driving up the prices. |
hmmm ... I stopped at five gas stations in Ellicot City this evening, no gas anywhere. It is far from solved, nice try though. |
| Omg. I remember being 5 and sitting in the gas lines with my mom in the 70s. |
Sounds like a question for BUM, not DCUM |
I better go fill my cars up with gas. |
Don’t forget the copter and boat. |
Okay good point...I am buying TP right now. |
There are gas lines at the Shell station in Clarendon. I went by at 5pm, 7pm and just now at 9:45pm shuttling different kids to soccer and each time the car line stretched out onto Washington Blvd...halfway down side near Texas Jack’s. About 9 cars waiting to even turn into the actual gas station. It didn’t dawn on me the first 2 times why...but the one late tonight and reading this.... |
| I'm hoping I can get out of driving to Calvert county for the second time in a month for a u10 game. |
I don't see this a critical either, but might make weekend travel less inviting. |
You're right. There is plenty of gas, but if you can't get it to the gas station, then there is a gas shortage. Just like toilet paper or anything else. |
| It’s like going out to buy milk and bread before the snowstorm. |
