I think I've tried all the apps and programs for losing 15lbs. And gaining it back.

Finally embraced intuitive eating and it is working better than anything else. It took some trial and error, but training myself to listen to myself and my body vs calorie counts, external motivators, or other requirements is really paying off. The fact that I'm actually not hungry was a shock and I can say "no" to the ice cream and pizza and whatnot and feel how much better my body and energy levels are with better food choices. I don't *have* to always say "no", but I can have a little of this and a little of that and feel satisfied vs sluggish.

First step, up your water intake and don't drink anything other than water during the day. From there, intuitive eating like the poster stated above. The calories are coming from somewhere.

This is the crux of your success. You need to explain with more than what you’ve posted here.

- minimize eating out. No more than 1 meal a week.
- park further away, take the stairs. Add in regular exercise, even if it's just a walk. But continue upping the goal (more time/distance/intensity)
- don't drink your calories
- cut out the alcohol
- lots and lots of veggies, and whole fruit (not juiced).

Find your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) - there are several online calculators, and how many calories you need to eat to have a large enough deficit to lose weight (e.g., 1/4 lb a week, etc.). Many calculators will give you this information, too.

Learn what calories your food has. Often, it can be helpful to use an app an plug in your food for a while to learn how much you’re eating.

Then keep eating at that deficit until you hit your goal. With 15 lbs, you likely won’t need to re-adjust you calorie needs, but if you are trying to lose more, if even if you hit a loss plateau somewhere in your journey of 15, re-do your TDEE and deficit needed.

1300 is not the magic number. The calories to eat to lose weight is highly dependent on each person’s stats- how much they weigh now, how tall they are, and how active they are. Should use a TDEE calculator to help figure out the calories to eat to weight.

1 tsp of Inulin mixed in a glass of water. 30 minutes before lunch and dinner. Start out using 1/2 tsp of Inulin and gradually increase it. This is a tried and tested way of effortless weight loss. Plus, you poop so good.

- For lunch and dinner - Eat a huge bowl of steamed veggies first, a medium bowl of fruits second, a small bowl of plain yogurt third. Wait for 30 minutes after that and only then have your normal meals. This is a very easy way to eat less calories.

- At least 6 glasses of water a day. And juice of at least one lemon a day mixed in water. You will actually see the weight dropping every day.
