Is SYC sending out a club wide email to all parents the night of the game to highlight their glory. LOL. What parent would know or care about the record of all of their club's results. Directors must not be busy enough since they have the time to come here and trash a club they left and clearly are doing better at. Congrats on being better than LMVSC. |
Well, we've been posting our wins on social media against clubs, so what's the difference? I don't understand why you're so upset. LC and everybody else has been amping up this past weekend long enough to now eat crow. I'm more upset of our actions and current state than anybody else. |
Oh I'm not upset. I agree with you regarding our state. I just thought it was funny that they had come here on a parent board as what seems like directors to brag. I think every club should post their wins on their social media accounts. SYC probably does a better job than other clubs in our area. They were better, good for them and congrats on their wins. |
I'm only familiar with the HS boys; I know at least the 2002 (U19), 2004 (U17), and 2005 (U16) boys are all empty slots for CCL. I feel bad for any club that has been scheduled against them in the CCL Showcases. |
Don't think that showcase schedules are finalized so unlikely they are planning to schedule anyone against them. |
THAT is some great news, and good call on CCL if they only schedule clubs that can actually field teams. Helps keep the league a little bit more credible. |
For girls, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008 also all missing in CCL; only 2005 girls have an 11v11 team in CCL. |
Sorry if that has been stated...Are the scheduled games for the "missing age groups", cancellations or are other teams subbing for LMVSC? |
They have replacement teams in many but not all age groups. I guess that's the path forward, using filler teams. |
Define filler teams. Are they teams outside the club or their own rec teams? |
They get teams from other clubs. PAC and TSJFCV filled in. I’m sure more teams will drop out of CCL, they may need more teams to fill. If you’re interested, contact the club. |
| Lol would love to see a rec team play a cc1 team |
Well, several teams recruited a lot of rec players. |
Having seen this weekend as a LMVSC parent, this is just not true. Yes, losing EM/PM and coaches hurt. But what did we do to make it better? Be lied to in 2019 town hall about rotating coaches. Make bad hires (two technical directors walked away from job before LC took it). Implement an academy structure to pretend that's what our players need. Want to know why we're losing so much? We're punching above our weight. Our high school age teams straight up forfeited against Beach FC, we weren't competitive in most games against Arlington and SYC, and probably same thing when we do played Alexandria. The best remaining players ARE going to leave to those three clubs. If we're still in CCL's top league next season, we're leaving. It's not a good playing experience, it's too expensive, and it's just upsetting. |
real questions for you: do you think LMVSC will either improve their services, and, do you think LMVSC will vacate CCL? |
