2007 Girls was a tie

SYC 2007 team didn't play LMVSC - they played Premier AC. You are correct, - that game ended in a 0-0 tie.

They aren’t that different. The league hype and talk on these boards is largely nonsense and there are a bevy of teams in NCSL D1 at younger ages who used to be in CCL. It’s musical chairs for the most part. I think this is great because it shows just how silly the concept of club and league patches are at this age.

They will merge, not swap leagues. Dumber ideas have worked ok. Like moving a bunch of coaches and a few teams over to you it next door neighbor and then talking about how great SYC is, when they are the same teams that grew up at LMVSC and played the previous season.

So did lmvsc sweep their CCL games against SYC today? Aside from media posts about their youngest age groups with WINS against SYA, it’s been relatively silent today. TBH it’s seems worthless to applaud a 8 or 9 old team for a win on social media and not promote the real sense of what is happening in the core age groups. The 2010 & 2009 groups are playing at Lee District Park? Isn’t that field set aside for U10 and younger based in the size of field? U12s can likely score off a punt or goal kick at Lee District.

Lmvsc merging with Premier AC or any other club? Never. LB is chalking up the promotion of former SYC directors as a merger for lmvsc. She is a control freak and will continue to put lmvsc in an island by itself among so many competing clubs. Lmvsc has fallen so far backward they will be a glorified rec program by the end of this season. Maybe they already are?

From what I'm gathering, SYC had only one loss and two ties, you can count the wins. Again though, difficult to get them all. We only found out recently DS wouldn't be playing because LMVSC doesn't have a team. Somebody alluded to it previously, but they have missing teams in A LOT of age groups. Will try to list them out later.
