I don't know how Vance can survive replays of the clips of that moment on Jan 6. It was the only knock out punch in the debate. And Walz looked pained to deliver the punch because he's so dignified and kind.

And i watched the whole debate and completely disagree with your first point. MB in particular was repeatedly fact checking Vance and not Walz, despite what the rules were supposed to be. As I woman I found her condescending and am fine with what Vance said to her.

As far as your second point, dunno. By then the debate put me to sleep.

If the moderators are fact checking someone, it's because they're egregiously lying (i.e. Vance calling the Haitian immigrants illegals, when they're in the USA legally. Only Vance could think it's a winning stance to try to call the moderators out for the temerity to fact check a liar.

Vance had a slick Yale-educated conman vibe about him. Many of the assertions he made were absurd but delivered calmly.

I agree Walz was awkward here and there but he came off as way more genuine and authentic.

Walz missed a layup when vance went on about needing more manufacturing and "drill baby drill" given Biden-Harris as repatriated hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs and is a net energy exporter with record gas and oil production.
