Yup |
Tim Walz wasn't at the Tiananmen Square Massacre but he was definitely at the VP Debate Massacre |
LOL. |
This oart to me was the weirdest thing Vance did, and I think really telling about his personality. He was describing what was clearly a really, really terrible time in his friend's life. (Query whether she would agree they are friends, but that's another question.) He is using that awful period in her life to score points for himself. (Because he's basically a user/self-promoter.) And, even worse, his whole point, that he thinks is such a wonderful point, is that he and Republicans just need to EXPLAIN better to women like her why they really don't need abortions. He is so arrogant -- he thinks he just needs to mansplain to women, and then of course they will agree with him. He totally doesn't get that this young woman was trying to educate him, and increase his understanding'empathy -- his take-away was that she needed to listen more to HIM. |
Walz has a lot of misspeaks and I don't just mean tonight. |
He said it, but he just bullet pointed it too quickly so I think most people missed it. It was like he memorized the talking points but then didn't put them into full sentences. |
We must believe Biden at the debate was a disaster just because you chose that adjective out of the air? |
Vance was looking well-rehearsed until the last segment on Jan 6th and when Walz asked him directly to answer if he thought Trump lost in 2020. Vance couldn't and said something dumb about censorship and the future.
"That is a damning non-answer." Tim looked disgusted and heartbroken when Vance's mask finally slipped. And Walz along with all the viewers saw definitively that Vance is just Trump's enabler and puppet. He was just cosplaying as a nice person. But he's just a poised puppet and Trump needs a firewall. |
DP. So was Walz at Tiananmen Square? I'm confused by his answer. |

The moderators spent so much time talking about the upper class childcare crisis. |
I think both of them did excellent and whatever side you are on, you’d be happy. Vance was the better speaker, to be clear. But Walz was likable and came across as a kind person. I think Trump’s campaign will benefit more though- a lot of people will vote for Trump begrudgingly and Vance will make that pull easier to swallow |
