LMVSC town hall

Because CCL required them to register. I heard that SYC took many of the coaches and basically made it so LMVSC couldn't function.

So LMVSC is missing half of the teams in CCL, and they chose to stay in? No offense, but I don't see how SYC "makes" LMVSC do anything. LMVSC made their choices, it didn't work out.

....yeah. about that. so, a lot of LMVSC coaches went to SYC and a lot of SYC coaches went to LMVSC. the difference is, all of the new coaches at SYC stayed at SYC; however, LMVSC still has their problems with LB being in charge. she let three directors go (JN, SO, CS) and several coaches have left. LMVSC can't function because of LMVSC. previous poster made it aware that over half of the players have left in the past two years, but like 90% of those players were red team (first team). that's why CCL scores have been so lopsided against LMVSC this past season, additionally, that's why so many red teams (top teams) play in NCSL. changing this year to 'academy style training' was never meant to help the players, just easier to manage the ever-evolving coaching staff and to mask the lower numbers at training.

the most successful team (2003 boys) came from ABGC (annandale), otherwise all of the teams older than U13 really fall apart (especially on the girls side). because players and parents see the dysfunction and limited options moving forward. and in my perspective, it won't change. LB doesn't care, it's just a paycheck. expect to see LMVSC be an NCSL-only club next season, by choice or by demand.

That was a year & half ago (or year depending on when you count) and they took many of the SYC coaches that the incoming LMVSC coaches took over from. So they definitely had/have as many coaches as they lost at that time. No idea what happened since. It all happened in our first 6 months of travel for our oldest, so I don't know how it all happened, who scorned who, or whatever, but I do know coaches and parents went in both directions at that time.

How did the guest clubs do?

Dunno who this LB chuck is but boy is she oblivious as to how dumb and useless she is?

We know she reads this.

Her superiors don’t? Will she ever have anything close to what she currently holds after decimating a club in its entirety?

LOLZ

Every club has its rise and fall. LMVSC is just going through a phase in time they will be on top again don’t forget the rec league is still fully operational and they will all be travel players.

When were they ever on top? I mean, nice club and all but they have never been a destination club.

no offense, but that's wishful thinking. many of those rec players have already been recruiting into travel simply to help form minimum roster sizes.

Rise and fall? You’re promoting a goal (by name against CYA) from our U16 red boys (supposed to be CCL) in the bottom division of NCSL. I don’t see much rise in the future.

Hi Lula.

good to see you chime in. Any updates you can share? Or is putting something in writing not the way you do things so you're not accountable.
