Literally everyone accusing him is conservative or works for a conservative org. The only person I can think of who might not fall in that category is the National Guard member who raised concerns about his tattoo, getting him pulled from inauguration duty, but I actually don't know -- that happened right after J6 when a lot of Republicans were publicly denouncing the insurrection and distancing themselves from the insurrectionists and their ideology (which was the concern about Hegseth's tattoo, that it advocated for white nationalist ideology).

Him calling it a smear campaign is undermined by this fact.

It's a little mystifying why Republicans chose this hard-drinking lightweight. I mean, there's nothing going on with this guy except "partying." There's no thought or cause or anything, except some white supremacy and misogyny. Why Republicans are rallying around a creepy frat bro with a drinking problem and numerous issues with women is beyond perplexing. I'd like to hear John Thune and Mitch McConnell make the case for Pete Hedgseth as Secretary of Defense.

No wonder Trump likes him. He's had multiple children with 3 wives, and affairs, just like Trump. Such family values.

Having an affair is dishonest. Why would we want a proven liar in charge of our military? Military usually has honor codes that are zero tolerance so how could this liar enforce that?

Yikes. Thanks, mom. Reminds me of that mom in “Catch Me If You Can” turning in her son played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

This is a good comparison because DiCaprio's character in that movie was a criminal who poses as an airline pilot and a doctor and fraudulently steals millions of dollars via a check forging scheme and other crimes.

So yes it's actually a lot like Hegseth who is a huge f***up who shouldn't be running your local hardware store and has been revealed as such by his own family, who know him best.

At least DiCaprio's character was smart and charming. And I don't remember him r+ping anyone.
