Some of them do. But some of them honestly think they’re well informed by their right wing sources. “Nobody else is going to tell you this [because I’m twisting the truth pretty badly to fit a narrative], only those who watch CrayTV know this…” And then someone tells them the truth as above but the truth, which usually shows the GOP for the craven people they are, is discarded as most uncomfortable things are. |
| If the body cam differs from the DOJ report, then link the body cam video. Wouldn’t that make sense? No one was being injured at that moment so no reason not to show it. Your article sure looks like more click bait because it claims the body cam shows something, but we don’t see the body cam. |
Not that PP but this article states what the suspended reporter stated as well (NBC I believe?). Why suspend a reporter instead of just amending the article? If Pelosi did, in fact, open the door, he should have been able to continue straight through and on out. |
The tv “reporter” repeated an unsourced story something that was completely contradicted by the charging documents and he didn’t mention or follow up on the discrepancy. No doubt his unnamed source was a cop buddy trying to cover for the cops’ slow reaction that enabled the assault. |
| Body cam shows Paul Pelosi opened the door. Why does this matter? The fact is that he was attacked by a crazed intruder. Why is this a conspiracy? |
It's not. A reporter wrote an incorrect story. NBD. |
^^^Nothing like a Monday morning quarterback, telling us all how everyone involved should have reacted in the moment. |
Right. Why is it a conspiracy that he stayed in his house? The police came in so he probably felt the man would be detained, not that he would be hit with the hammer. Also are there new details about the glass? |
If someone was in your house and you opened the door, would you walk outside towards them, or back inside towards the person? I’d say outside, unless you knew the person. |
That reporter has been with NBC news for well over a decade and has won and Emmy and a Murrow so you can omit your idiotic quotation marks. And the intelligent assumption would be that a reporter with that experience and track record would have acted appropriately. The only opaque cloud hangs over the network and the DOJ. |
