| Just venting. I wanted to say something to these adults but my husband insisted we just leave. We are in dc where it’s the law to wear masks. This was a small playground, the adults were talking animatedly and loudly, and the kids (masked, except for theirs) had to pass around their conversation to go from one part of the enclosed area to another. What would u have done? |
| Nothing. Not my biz. |
| I would have done nothing. I can only control what I do, not what others do. (And I definitely would have been masked, along with my kids). People are all over the place with their beliefs about what is low risk vs high risk. |
What would I have done? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Regardless of what I was feeling. I would have worn my masks and protected myself and my own and left the place.
|
| Please, OP, if you see something, say something! Call the police and record the law violators for evidence. It is up to all of us to hold each other accountable. If we do not assume responsibility, it’ll never end! |
| I would have left and then spent the rest of the day stewing about it. No sarcasm. Confronting these people gets you nowhere but it sucks to continually have the few fun things left ruined by people who are selfish. I am 100% sure that these are the same people who “save” lounge chairs at hotel pools that prohibit it, manspread on subways, and eat the last cookie. |
| PP above- forgot to add that they might also be Leaf Blower at 7 am on Sunday Guy. |
| Nothing. Stop the crazy drama. |
| Maybe they’ve already recently had covid? |
| Where is there an enclosed playground? |
|
I'm betting they had covid already Pretty much all of the South has. When my sister goes to see her ILs in GA nobody masks up bc they had it already.
Pretty much life as usual for them. |
| Which playground? |
| Nothing. |
No, not really, but okay. It's a different part of the country, not a different County. I would have ignored them. |
| Have your kid shame them (like really loudly say “mom why aren’t they wearing masks” |
