Possibly Christina Noel/Noelle but we’re fighting about the spelling.
I say it’s “Noel” for “the first Noel” and the French spelling meaning Christmas but DH insists it’s a name so it Noelle or else people will call her “nol” (like the male name. What say you? |
| Christine Noel. |
| Christina Noel if born on December 24 or 25 and Christine Noelle for all other days in December. |
| Noel. |
| Noellle |
| Noelle. |
|
I’m like your husband. “Noel” sounds like “Nole”
Regardless I love the name! Nice one. |
| I think he’s correct. Noel is “nol”. She would spend the rest of her life correcting people. |
| Noelle for a girl. If I saw Noel I'd wonder why you gave her the boy version of the name. I get that it's the "first Noel" , but Noelle literally means Christmas so I think the meaning is adequately conveyed. |
This! But I think pretty much everyone knows Noel is pronounced no-Elle. |
If I think about it I do, but all my Noelle friends use that spelling and I know a few male Noels. That said, it’s the middle name so i don’t think it wold be a big deal. |
| Noel. Noel means Christmas in French and according to Wikipedia has been given to both boys and girls on the holiday since the Middle Ages. |
| Christina Noelle (better spelling) is overkill. Pick one or the other. I like Noelle as a first name. |
| Natalie also works for a Christmas baby |
I agree. This is way too theme-y. As someone with a December birthday it kind of sucks to have your birthday overshadowed by Christmas. I wouldn't want my whole name to be ruled by the holiday too. |
