Thinking about Noel or Noelle for late December baby middle name

It’s cute but I wouldn’t want that name myself. Like Three’s Company girl named Christmas/Chrissy Snow

I say it’s “Noel” for “the first Noel” and the French spelling meaning Christmas but DH insists it’s a name so it Noelle or else people will call her “nol” (like the male name.

What say you?

Noel is for males. Noelle for females.

Oh relax! The child’s name is Christina. A handful of people will know her middle name is Noel. No one with a life is going to roll their eyes.

But its a middle name. No one is going to be using it.

Good point. I wasn’t thinking.
OP, I know you didn’t put it on the table, but someone suggested Natalie. Such a beautiful name. You might prefer Natalia because you like Christina.
