Thinking about Noel or Noelle for late December baby middle name

Anonymous
Noelle for a girl, for sure. Noel is the boy’s version, which is fine, but why not use the female version that is spelled how you want it pronounced. Would you name her Daniel and pronounce it Danielle?

But both Christina and Noelle and having a birthday right around Christmas, poor kid. I have a daughter born around Christmas and we wanted to get as far away from holiday theme as possible.

Smart and fair. A birthday around XMas is not a good thing. At least keep her name out of it. This is a person, not a dog.

Friends named their December kid Holly. Hmmm.

I like Noelle as a first name. So pretty and different!

I know someone born on Christmas Day whose name is Merry.

Noelle is a pretty middle name. I agree with others to give her a non-Christmas associated first name.

Adding I went to school with a Natalie who was in fact born on Christmas.

I feel like I shouldn't like this, but I like it!

My choice is Christina Noel.

I don’t think of Christina as a Christmas themed name like Merry and the names together sound lovely to me.

No one cares about a middle name anyway.

Beautiful. I like them both. Noelle is a beautiful name.

It’s beautiful and not corny at all. Natalie also means Christmas. Got some Christian haters on this board.

I say it’s “Noel” for “the first Noel” and the French spelling meaning Christmas but DH insists it’s a name so it Noelle or else people will call her “nol” (like the male name.

What say you?

Noelle for middle name and pick another name as first, not related to Christmas. Must be other names you like!

Christina is Christmas. So her name is Christmas Christmas?
