Thinking about Noel or Noelle for late December baby middle name

I don’t think of Christina as a Christmas themed name like Merry and the names together sound lovely to me.

No one cares about a middle name anyway.

Christina is Christmas. So her name is Christmas Christmas?
As stupid as naming a girl Elizanbeth Isabel!

Christina means Christian not Christmas! You think all the Christina’s in the world are named after Christmas?!

People here always go on about not giving twee names or nicknames as names, I kind of feel this way about this name. Your daughter may not grow up to be Christian or into Christmas, so I wouldn't give a first name like Christian or over the top Christmasy theme name like Holly or Merry.

I think you can get by with Noelle as a middle name, but giver her something regular as a first name.

Like Charlotte Noelle or Caroline Noelle., don't have to be those names, but you get the idea. Congrats on your baby!

So if you’re named Christina, you have to be Christian?! What about Kristen? Tina/Nina? My best friend is a Jewish Christie.

You are reading way too much into this, guys.

Christina Noel or Noelle is a pretty name regardless of what month she’s born in!

I agree that Christina Noelle is too much.

I love Noelle, and I would use it as a first name, or as a middle name with a less Christmasy first name. Anna Noelle, Grace Noelle, practically anything.

Me too but Merri.

OP, use Noelle.

I agree. This is way too theme-y. As someone with a December birthday it kind of sucks to have your birthday overshadowed by Christmas. I wouldn't want my whole name to be ruled by the holiday too.

Agree. She just happens to be born in December. Does her whole name need to revolve around it?

That is uncommon, to say the least.

I prefer the "Noel" spelling, and think that Christina Noel is a perfectly lovely name.

Christina does not mean "Christmas."

I love how people were all bent on another post about winifred but is totally ok with some over themed Xmas name.

Please op don’t do it to your kid.

So if you had a baby near Easter would you name her rabbit or egg?

Oh maybe Lilly?

Bunny Lilly?

Or Halloween time -
Monster Pumpkin?

Agree with the others who have said nope don’t do it

Your husband is correct. The girl name version is Noelle.

I’d personally go with Natalia or Nathalie. Same meaning.

Christina Noël is a beautiful name. Christina DOES NOT mean Christmas so no redundancy there.
However if you want to avoid an overtly Christian first AND middle name -
I would consider Carina Noël.

So beautiful!

Natalie or Natalia is better, I think. Noel/Noelle sounds more like a little girl's name IMO.
