Wait, what? I thought an old dog could learn new tricks and a leopard could change it's spot?? You mean to tell me Trump's job approval rating is settling down to his 1st term average? Shocking! |
Unfortunately what goes down must come up. At some point he's going to get a bounce - either the economy won't be as bad as most are forecasting, or there will be a foreign policy crisis and "rally around the flag" syndrome will set in. We can just hope that his poll numbers are in the tank when the midterms roll around. |
There may be some false flag event to rally support around the flag, and we can almost count on it, since they have been projecting and forecasting it for months, but the economy is a dumpster fire and not getting better without full capitulation to China. The rest of the world are cutting deals with each other and not with the US. That hits every American regardless of their opinion on "illegals" or "trans" or whatever other social outrage the right wants to manufacture. |
Remains to be seen if this is settling down or will keep dropping |
Biden's approval ratings plummeted to around 40% less than a year into his term and never recovered. Trump's 1st term approval ratings hovered around 40% for the entire term. Some small random fluctuations to 45% or 35% but they couldn't shake the 40% average. Grumpy, arrogant, unfit elderly people make for unpopular presidents. Add Trump's chaotic nature to the mix for a hot mess of unpopularity. Any approval rating bounce Trump receives will be random and short-lived. We know how this story ends. |
Fake news! Arrest the pollsters! |
He's proposing exactly that. |
Oh people are not going to rally behind Trump and republicans. The majority of the people considered them foreign actors. |
A majority of Americans say President Trump is a "dangerous dictator" who poses a threat to democracy and believe he's overstepped his authority

Finally. Now what will be done about it?! |
More give Trump an F than any other grade for first 100 days, poll finds
https://www.npr.org/2025/...val-rating APRIL 29, 20255:00 AM ET Twice as many people said President Trump deserves a grade of F rather than an A for how he's handled his first 100 days in office, according to a new NPR/PBS News/Marist poll. Forty-five percent said Trump deserves the failing mark, compared to 23% who would pass him with flying colors. It's understandable that partisans would have strongly polarized views of the president, but it's also notable that half of independents said he deserves an F, and only a slim majority of Republicans would give him an A. |
Trump is actively trying to destroy our economy, because he thinks it’s in his own best self interest. He has no problem with it because he is immoral. Can’t even compare what Trump is doing to when Biden was in office. |

Trump's polling has already collapsed: It took under 100 days for buyer's remorse to set in. [/quote] Unfortunately what goes down must come up. Yeah but Trump isn’t running for reelection so he doesn’t give a rat’s behind. He’s just out to grift as much as he can. |
