And before you post “what about Washington DC?” the US government is not claiming that Ukraine is historically and culturally a subregion of our country.

The US embassy should not be trolling, it's poor taste

Biden slipped. He accidentally let slip the US position when he blurted out:

“A minor incursion is not an invasion” a few months back.

He signaled to Putin there would be no major consequences for re-taking the 2 regions.

Question now is:

- did Biden abandon the rest of Ukraine to Putin too?

That was a few months ago. The position today is that an invasion has happened., Why would you dredge that up? He was signalling at the time that US Intel understood what the plan was.

Seems reasonable in retrospect.

Except the whole Biden thing ws manufactured, just like Hillary;s emails, Benghazi and Seth Rich,. Don't you understand that at this point?

+1. The author of that tweet needs to be in jail. That’s disgusting. If that’s not treason then I don’t know what is.

Yes, they did. They decertified it which means the deal just came to a grinding halt. And given natural gas is Russia's biggest export, that's a huge blow to them.

Are the digging up the pipeline? Cementing it?

No, this is a temporary delay. Nordstream 2 will be open within the year sure as Christ made apples.

Ukraine is abandoning Ukraine; they just want peace.

If they just want peace, what can we do?

Nothing. And that’s OK. We didn’t let these people into NATO for a reason. Time to land the peace and be done.

Ukraine is not abandoning Ukraine. They can do the basic math and realize that Russia would demolish them in open war. It is an insanely lopsided matchup. US/Europe need to step up here, it's their fight.

(Also, friendly reminder that Ukraine had nuclear weapons - which would have allowed it to defend itself from Russia rather than depending on allies - and they gave them up in exchange for a promise that allies would step up and protect their borders).

THEY ARE ALL TRAITORS

Correct. Trump and his cult are 100% traitors against the USA.

Why the f are they supporting the invasion of a sovereign country by our adversary?

MAGA is traitorous beyond belief

We aren’t going to go to war for Ukraine. Now if a NATO member were to be attacked, that’s a different story. The Communists would move on Taiwan if they were to declare “independence”. We do not have a security treaty with them anymore so whether or not we come to their aid is TBD.

Let’s all pretend we care about Ukraine, and send all our money into Ukraine in the form of advanced weapons. Then when the Ukrainians run away from the battle, Russia can have the weapons

I can barely afford gas today; should my taxes go for weapons for Ukraine?

Germany won’t send them weapons and they are get closer.

Why should we?
