Completely agree. She’s perfect. I don’t know that she’s made one misstep as his wife.

She's made plenty of missteps early on, but they were innocuous. No weight in the skirt, working too little, that sort of thing, but you never had to worry about her doing something hurt the Crown. She really understands her job and she embraces it wholeheartedly. If she has private disagreements with her role, we'll never know.

I mean hell will freeze over before Kate goes to Oprah, know what I'm saying?

Kate comes from a background that prepared her for this type of life.

She does not. She was upper middle class. Her parents owned a party supply business and had modest beginnings- her mother was an airline attendant. She was certainly not an aristocrat like Diana. However she is complete grace- never a hair out of place, always behaves in a way befitting of her title. She is a wonderful asset to the crown, as much as it pains me to imagine what compromise/sacrifice that requires of her, particularly as a woman, in her life and marriage.

I think that is what the poster meant.. Kate's mom probably was always controlling her weight obsessively as this is what the job calls for. When you are attendant you need to be within certain weight limit... or at least that was thing in the past. So the comment was NOT without a merit and did NOT have to imply aristocratic bacground.

Nonsense. All the pictures of Kate from her college days and while dating William show her at a healthy weight.

I watched it. What exactly would you like to discuss? It was pretty expected/unremarkable.

William married well.

Yes, she has handled her role beautifully. She has always been thin and it repulsive that everyone has attacked her for this during a funeral. No one would ever say anything about an overweight member of the family. She still looks healthy and beautiful.

Please. It was obvious that Kate’s parents were desperately pushing her to marry well. They sent her to the same school as William. When he transferred, she followed. This was before they even dated. I can only imagine the type of pressure they put on her to get his attention.

I wish I could figure out how to post the picture directly into the post. She looks so beautiful.

Yes, chic and beautiful, best she's ever looked. The jewels belong to the queen, stunning.

Kate is elegant. Regal. Her coat was gorgeous, her hair was perfect, and the jewelry was lovely.

+100
She is lovely, as always.

Neither of them transferred. They each took a gap year which is pretty common there.

How did you see the tears? I could barely see her face.

There were no tears. Or if there were, no one saw them.

I appreciated that we couldn’t get a good enough view to see emotion like tears.

If you watched you would find it remarkable! I am not particularly invested in the BRF or Prince P per se
and I think the car he designed was pretty lame but the ceremony was inpeccable and spectacular.
It was relatively modest but also punched a lot of glory.

I think it was way better done then Princes Di's ceremony.

While Prince failed me with the car he truly proven himself as far as the funeral is concerned.

It was impeccable.

The family fashion.. truly irrelevant. EVERYBODY LOOKS THE SAME IN BLACK!!!!

Besides, Funeral IS NOT a fashion event and this is pertty sickening to discuss over and over and over and over the dresses.. and high hills..

the funeral is rather solemn ceremony and who cares about the fashion????

The music was amazing!
The visuals were amazing!
The splendor of the army was really fabulously underscoring the character.
The minimal church rite was good and unboring.

All was scripted and staged but to pefection.
Including the who and the what of the family.

OMG.. what kind of vultures goes to a funeral or watches one hoping to see the family in tears.

For one this is UK.

For two why do you need tears people.

For three, cry if you want or need.

For four.. I forgot the four.
