Why? some states/cities want them and others dont. they should be sent to the ones that want them |
We have freedom of movement and don't provide formal immigration support (except for refugees admitted through the normal channels). Both of you are right (it should be thought out) but to do so would require changing the entire way we approach immigration. |
| Ship them all to Puerto Rico! |
We shouldn't have freedom of movement for people still going through the asylum process. There is so much fraud and gaming the system that it is counterproductive to release them and then try to find them once they've been denied asylum. Keep them in one place until the are granted or denied asylum. |
Agreed. Tent city in the Sonoran desert. Build prefab courthouses right there. Use ng to feed and provide sanitation. |
You seem to think they are living in the lap of luxury currently. Maybe you forgot that numerous detained illegal alien children and adults have already died in custody due to the crappy conditions they already have. |
Who. The. F&$ck. Cares? They’re not supposed to be here in the first place. They die in the desert. They get trafficked and murdered in Florida, Maryland, Virginia. If you really cared, you would help end illegal immigration. Period. |
Humans care. I guess the amoral scum of the earth - the MAGAs - don’t care though. |
Would love to know just how much you are personally doing right now to help these people. Because despite leaning right, I guarantee I do more in an 8 hour workday to help them then you have probably done in your lifetime (ranting on DCUM does not count.) |
DP. Since you didn't say what exactly you do to "help" them, I'm guessing your idea of the "help" you give isn't their idea of the help they want or need. |
These people are showing up at the border on deaths doorstep - especially the kids. Their parents dragging them across several countries through the desert without adequate food and water and unsanitary conditions probably have more to do with it than anything. That isnt the US's fault. |
I work in public health. I am a doctor. You really think they don’t want dirt cheap healthcare? Newsflash - THEY DO. |
Given the way you talk so disparagingly about them, like they're not even human beings, I question the quality of "healthcare" you give to them. Or to anyone. |
I haven’t said anything disparaging about anyone. My first post was @ 10:15 I have stated on threads before that I work in public health (and I’m VERY good at what I do. I even speak fluent Spanish for the benefit of my patients). All I deliver is quality healthcare with compassion. My patients appreciate me. I’ve gotten many compliments. I know it blows some people’s minds that I can deliver compassionate care AND be against illegal immigration - it’s like you can’t wrap your brain around it. So once again I say, I’d be willing to bet everything that I do more for these illegal immigrants in one day than most people on this thread do in a lifetime. You can continue to doubt me because it doesn’t fit in with your evil republican narrative. Have at it. No skin off my back. I sleep well at night knowing I actually help people every day. |
Then why do you insert yourself in the middle of a thread, without distinguishing yourself as a different person, that refers to "amoral scum"? The PP obviously wasn't referring to you. Do you just want to wave your doctor d!ck around? So what if you do more to help people in a day? It's your damn job, that's what you're trained to do, and that's what you're supposed to do. |
