DA vs ECNL vs everything else

Loudoun 07 kids are not chasing GOTSOCCER points. The parents are. The club is. All Loudoun Red teams are good at the younger ages. I already said that. Its not hard to pick 10 good kids from 100 and form a good team.

You're too busy with the sales pitch to realize the truth. AT U14 AND ABOVE LOUDOUN LOSES THEIR TALENT.

10 years of historically data to proves it.

Excellent points
Convincing argument
Nothing in the Future will change that
Let's hope that Loudoun figures it all out someday

ECNL and DA teams don't chase GOTSOCCER points.

Mclean 02 ECNL won Bethesda and Jefferson Cup and are ranked lower than Loudoun 02 because they play much less GOTSOCCER tournaments

There is not one SINGLE 02 DA or ECNL team in the top 10 in the nation according to GOTSOCCER points. I assure you, PDA DA, SURF DA, etc. are the best teams in the nation. Its not even debatable.

You people are truly moronic. I can't speak for DA but ECNL and non-ECNL teams play each other in tournaments and get points for placement in their respective leagues. ECNL regional leagues have weak teams and strong teams and is weighted appropriately.

Some moron above argued that Loudon does not produce nationally competitive teams. The reference above proves otherwise.

I am convinced. It was the "10 years of historically data to proves it" argument that won me over.

I deserve that for not proofreading. Maybe you Loudoun parents do have a sense of humor.

We are nerdy too. The other reply is acrostic. It's all good. Best of luck to your kids...it's a good day for soccer.

Phew! I am more mixed up than a fart in a windstorm. Did we decide that Loudoun is good or bad?

Loudoun SC is better than Arlington SC because Arlington residents wanted toll roads on 66 for Loudoun County commuters.

So yeah..Loudoun over Arlington.

If Gotsoccer points were awarded for cool points, Arlington would be last

I don't know if a consensus has been reached but I'd venture that Loudoun will do a little worse in the girls ECNL than BRYC did in their respective first years. I'd also guess that Loudoun does better long-term because they have the stronger base for bringing in players, while BRYC will weaken over time from players having other elite options available.

does BRYC bring in girls from rival clubs significantly farther than 10 miles radius?

We heard that U9 Boys McLean or Loudoun are not the strongest at this time, everything else is confusing.

Loudoun 07 girls are a great example. Superb players compared to the weaker pools at Mclean, Stoddert, Arlington, and other CCL clubs. Will they all go to WS and FCV? Will they all stay for ECNL? Will it be half and half? In one year we can have some actual facts ow what happens to these Ulittles. Is anyone watching the 06s to see where they are committing? That will give you a hint.

The 05’s who leave Loudoun for DA will give the hint. Nothing is going to change, the same top 3-4 Red players will leave like they always have and those are the only ones FCV or Spirit really want anyway.

Did McLean lose a lot of their youth to DA? Is their u14 ECNL team terrible? Good test case for retaining talent for ECNL vs losing to DA...

If this is true, Loudoun will be a powerhouse in ECNL based on numbers alone. If you think the whole potential of a club rests only on 3-4 girls out of 80 at age 12, you don’t get youth sports. Girls develop at different rates.

They will have many many late developers in their pool. Alex Morgan is probably the best player in the world and she could not make her top club team at 12 and 13. Look it up. She was a late developer. There are lots of them. Don’t think that girls are done growing at this age.

These girls will be less likely to move after u14 when they have more say, want to stay with friends and recruiting ramps up. After they commit, why bother moving? If you disagree, then why did ECNL retain so many older girls this year?

Loudoun, McLean and BRYC will he just fine keeping talent.
