Looks like a new Gaza war has started

Some of them do sound totally insane.

Yet they haven't released it yet. The entire region is about to blow up. The US President is flying, right now, into the thick of it. If they have such absolute proof they're taking a strangely long time to release it.

This isn't something any of us should be speculating about or passing on rumors. We all need the truth. Whatever that is.

They are getting ready to.

“40 beheaded babies” otherwise known as wartime propaganda.

Just stop. No reasonable person will argue that Hamas did not commit vile, antisemitic attacks.

So Russia loves Trump but hates Israel? What’s a progressive Democrat to do?

We know for sure some of the children were killed by gunfire. At close range, the outcome of assault rifle execution and beheading is not going to look measurably different.

Sorry to leave you all with this unquestionably grim thought.

It’s possible that there were beheading. Israel clearly stated that they will not release the most gruesome pictures.

I don’t disagree. It’s certainly possible.

Witnesses said there was.

If IDF’s assertion about the hospital is accurate, should we expect that the UN will take its anger out on Hamas? Nah.

Protesters in Beirut are storming UN building as we speak. UN will say that was justified.

They were vile and evil attacks, but were they anti-semitic just bc they were done to israelis? Doesnt hamas consider israelis their enemy, as israelis consider iranians and palestinians their enemies? Is every act against an israeli antisemitic? And if so what are acts against palestinians?

Israel's response was - "we need to research this before responding." They looked for video evidence, drone evidence and other evidence and it showed that the rocket was fired from within Gaza.

But, the media believed the terrorists. With no evidence.

big surprise.

The western media have been nothing but pure Israeli mouth pieces. Israel bombed a Reuters news team in Lebanon and Reuters even refused to say who did it. They just said that their reporter was killed by rockets coming from the direction of Israel. Because media can never hold Israel accountable.

It is part of the Israeli fascism. And employers here will fire anyone who shows even a modicum of support for Palestine. And who's the persecuted group?

Israel assassinated Shireen Abu Akleh last year — long before the October Hamas attacks. Even the the IDF was comfortable killing a world renowned journalist with an American passport and beating mourners at her funeral. This week, an emboldened IDF bombed the headquarters of the Associated Press and Al Jazeera. Israel has killed countless international journalists including BBC reporters.

There’s a reason to target journalists.

It makes it so much easier to control the narrative when you can discredit all reporting from Gaza as Hamas propaganda. It’s so much easier to hide atrocities when all credible sources are dead.

Throughout history, the good guys don’t kill journalists and bomb their offices.

The good guys don’t bomb evacuation routes.

The good guys don’t target civilians.

The good guys definitely don’t bomb hospitals.

The good guys here are Israel—not Hamas.

I see a terrorist state fighting a terrorist organization.

Wrong.

If Hamas lays down its weapons, there will be peace.

If Israel lays down its weapons, they will be annhilated.

Hamas literally has a manifesto that says there should not be a single Jew remaining between the sea and the Jordan river.

I initially thought that chant was catchy enough, but I can't listen to it now that I understand it. While I am not against peaceful demonstrations to apply pressure on different issues, I would never join a Palestinian rally now I've noticed the protestors seem to chant it non-stop. Ugly.

The Irgun had a chant that ran: Two sides has the Jordan [River]; this one's ours and that one too.

Israel has bombed UN aid agencies and buildings many many times in Gaza including bombing a UN school
The other day so who can blame the UN for not fancying Israel much?

The UN has to administer services since Palestinians are stateless, remember?

Before anyone mentions it, yes, Hamas is not any better if they steal UN aid

Irgun has been gone since 1949. Nice try though. And it was not a chant, nor did Irgun chant it. It was a song by Zev Jabotinskiy who died in 1940.

You're being very optimistic that anyone on this thread has heard of the Irgun.

The amount of ignorance on this thread...

It's painful.

Liberal MSNBC is the most insidious. Three of their Muslim anchors are out this week, including half Palestinian Ayman Moyheldin. I won’t be tuning in to MSNBC anymore.

Vlad: the NY Times and AP literally blamed Israel! Some would call it a judgment rush to.
