This is why you folks keep losing.
They just don't get it do they?

I think the previous poster means Tyler Robinson. It's pretty clear that Charlie Kirk is not inconsequential nor will he be forgotten in six months.

I think you are wrong. I think the pp was indeed talking about Charlie Kirk and has no earthly idea just how consequential his life was. He will not be forgotten in 6 months, or 6 years or 20 years. And, this terrifies them.

Do you know who George Lincoln Rockwell was, poster?

Bumping this; curious to know if anybody here remembers George Lincoln Rockwell.

No

Well then, I wonder if anybody will really remember Charlie Kirk in 20 years.

Maybe because of the internet, but on the other hand, new content is always being made and it pushes the old content out of the spotlight.

TPUSA board has named Erika Kirk as her husband's successor, and she says she plans to visit college campuses and continue his debate shtick. From what I've seen of her, I doubt very much she'll be any good at it.

Many people had no idea who Charlie and Erika Kirk were to begin with. Will I remember him in 20 years, maybe. Probably not though.

Most older folks didn't know Charlie, unless they are very close political news followers like myself - and I only knew about him enough to know that I didn't want to know more, same as I feel about Ben Shapiro.

But if you're following the news at all, you might have seen that his reach to the youth of America and other countries was very expansive - like, most corporations would only wish to have the percentage name recognition of Charlie Kirk among high school and college age youth. Your kids if they're old enough have probably seen Kirk's content at one point or another.

Going to keep posting this to tell you all that he really wasn’t as well known and influential as you think he was.

Turning Point currently has about 3500 chapters at high schools and universities. Since his murder, they have received 62,000 requests to open new chapters. His influence is only growing.

Ok, good luck with that.

As long as they don’t become mandatory like some other youth clubs 85 or so years ago.

The DOE just announced it’s partnering with Turning Point. Watch the propaganda video about the new social studies curriculum as part of America’s 250th birthday.

Yup.

Holy crap, this tweet by TPUSA only raises more questions!

-Did they actually recover the bullet? If so, where was it found?
-Was an autopsy performed by the local medical examiner?
-Was the body released to the family? After how long? Who took control of the body at the hospital?

When the first video came out of the shooting, it looked like he was hit in the chest. Then the more graphic up close video was released a short time later that showed the massive outward blood loss from the neck & everyone assumed he was shot in the neck

Personally, I’m inclined to believe that it was a chest hit into soft body armor. This cause the bullet to shrapnel and tumble inside his body. A piece of the bullet exited his neck from inside his body. This make the most sense to me.

Unless they’re making soft armor with decoy “headlights,” he wasn’t wearing any. High velocity projectiles that hit soft armor neither fragment nor ricochet. They penetrate. He was hit in the neck.

Lack of an exit wound?

Sometimes you don’t get an exit wound.

But there was something like a dark straight line that was opposite of the neck wound. Not sure if it was the bullet and the neck wound was the exit wound or it was one of his hairs or a spurt of blood from the impact.

Not to be graphic but a bullet that size would create an explosive wound. This is a type of bullet that can partially decapitate a deer. I've read a lot of comments from hunters and those in the military and they aren't buying this story. Plus the wound on the neck looks like an exit wound not an entry.

Was there an autopsy?

The DOE is partnering not only with TP but with 40 other RW organizations on this.

Here's the WP's take:

It means you didn’t go to the women’s match. If you’ve never seen anything like it. Or a Harris rally.

Here’s how Turning Point wants to indoctrinate American children. This was never a good faith debate. Charlie had an agenda and now his wife will expand it.

This tidbit from a news article got my attention:

“Law enforcement agencies have prepared extensive security measures to address the risks of a rare gathering with much of the presidential line of succession present inside an NFL stadium. Five hundred to 800 Secret Service officers have been deployed to the Phoenix area to help secure the event.”

Hard to tell from home since ABC is showing Family Feud reruns instead.
