Looks like a new Gaza war has started

If it was israel that bombed the hospital, it puts him in a completely untenable position. As a jew it puts me in a completely untenable position.
they better have hard evidence that it wasn't them or this deteriorates into impossible territory.

the problem here is that they will claim that it was Hamas for at least a year. After a year, they may quietly admit it - like they've done with the other atrocities - or continue to deny in spite of international investigations clearly indicating the opposite. Israel is never held to task. Never. Not once. I mean, the US bombed a hospital in Afghanistan and blamed it on the Afghanis for over a year. Same thing.

but with the eyes of the world on it, i would think they will need some pretty powerful evidence it was not them to mollify ppl.

Awfully convenient, wouldn’t you say?

how convenient for who and what now.

Do you really need an explanation?

The video and timeline shows the explosion at the hospital happening right after a barrage of missiles were launched from Gaza toward Israel, and you can clearly see one of the missiles malfunctioning and crashing.

Putting aside the humanity of it, bombing a hospital right before Biden visits is the #1 stupidest thing the IDF could ever do.

The USA is Israel’s biggest benefactor and we’ve been urging restraint.

Why would Israel undermine its entire argument for needing aid right before POTUS comes?

You can say a lot about Bibi, but he’s not stupid.

He is incredibly stupid - and misguided, narcissistic and completely reckless. He had been warned by both US and Egyptian security forces re: Hamas' impending strike. He ignored. He has led his country into a near domestic civil war with protests, rallies, and failed governments. Why do people keep asserting how competent Israel is? They are not. They have proved it over and over again. One thing that this government is for certain - violent and malicious.

Think instead would Putin do this? If the answer is yes, then Israel is capable of the same thing

I love all these armchair experts. Becuase Israel was not in the process of dropping nearly 10,000 bombs this week? They had not already hit that hospital? They had not told the hospital to evacuate because they were going to hit it? Hamas has never had a rocket with this capacity. You guys keep parroting the same talking points. We see through the propaganda and will not let you get away with it this time

IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari made the startling admission that “hundreds of tons of bombs” had already been dropped on Gaza, adding that “the emphasis is on damage and not on accuracy”

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/oct/10/right-now-it-is-one-day-at-a-time-life-on-israels-frontline-with-gaza

And somehow, they didn't hit the hospital. Sure.
F them.

Israel's response was - "we need to research this before responding." They looked for video evidence, drone evidence and other evidence and it showed that the rocket was fired from within Gaza.

But, the media believed the terrorists. With no evidence.

big surprise.

The western media have been nothing but pure Israeli mouth pieces. Israel bombed a Reuters news team in Lebanon and Reuters even refused to say who did it. They just said that their reporter was killed by rockets coming from the direction of Israel. Because media can never hold Israel accountable.

It is part of the Israeli fascism. And employers here will fire anyone who shows even a modicum of support for Palestine. And who's the persecuted group?

Israel assassinated Shireen Abu Akleh last year — long before the October Hamas attacks. Even the the IDF was comfortable killing a world renowned journalist with an American passport and beating mourners at her funeral. This week, an emboldened IDF bombed the headquarters of the Associated Press and Al Jazeera. Israel has killed countless international journalists including BBC reporters.

There’s a reason to target journalists.

It makes it so much easier to control the narrative when you can discredit all reporting from Gaza as Hamas propaganda. It’s so much easier to hide atrocities when all credible sources are dead.

Throughout history, the good guys don’t kill journalists and bomb their offices.

The good guys don’t bomb evacuation routes.

The good guys don’t target civilians.

The good guys definitely don’t bomb hospitals.

Wrong.

If Israel lays down its weapons, they will be annhilated.

Hamas literally has a manifesto that says there should not be a single Jew remaining between the sea and the Jordan river.

So does Likud.

Who was the armchair expert that initially posted about the hospital?

Who’s we?

I see 1 of you, on a pathetic (and crazy) posting frenzy.

Hope you’re getting paid for this.

He is very stupid. I sometimes question if he is Jewish because he’s that dumb. Most Americans were mortified last week by the reports of beheaded and burned Israeli babies.

He didn’t make things any better by bombing a hospital.

Right now, protests over this hospital bombing are going on in Ramallah, Baghdad, and Beirut.

Avi Mayer:

“ Whoa: Israeli media is reporting that the IDF has a recording of a conversation between Islamic Jihad terrorists confirming that they launched the rocket that hit the Gaza hospital. ”

Thanks to people like you and your propaganda.

Will the Palestinian extremists and their useful idiots never learn?

You’ll lose again. More of your people’s blood will not help your cause.

The silence from IDF speaks volumes. I wonder if they have in fact determined something contrary to their earlier claim. We shall see.

This, in a nutshell, sums it all up.

If Hamas lays down its weapons, what happens to Gazans for the next ten, twenty, thirty years? Is that really peace or the absence of war?

Ehh... Fatah seems to think peaceful living can be managed for the next ten, twenty, thirty years.

West Bank is not Gaza, and it is also not without violence and new settlements.
