I would wear that outfit - but not at a press conference.

^ Also am I crazy or is she looking kind of Kardashianesque these days, in the face?

She only got styling help while she was WH-adjacent….

She’s trying to do this on her own.

We should treat it as the What Not To Wear 1st shopping trip it shows up as. Cue snotty, “I tried your rules!”

dear lord, what a trash bag.

The entire ensemble was wrong: black baby tee shirt with cap sleeves, jewelry, dark make-up. Eeww.

I hadn’t seen the bottom half until today. Good lord.

I hadn't seen that, either. My jaw literally dropped.

She's just so tacky. (I'm a Democrat, FWIW.)

AOC is like tons of other people who have inherently decent taste and grew up without money. Dressing well requires creativity and resourcefulness. Sales, secondhand stores...my grandmother sewed lots of my mom's dresses and they were beautiful. AOC knows what works for her, too. And no, she'll never get a fair shake. People will always assume she's shady.

You would think there would be a dress code.

She resembles a Hill cleaning lady more than a Senator.

That's an insult to cleaning ladies who have to wear more practical outfits than that abomination.

People on this thread are really really missing the point about Synema’s fashion choices. She absolutely is targeting her base and swing voters in Arizona.

Couple of things:
-She specifically won Arizona due to typically Republican women suburban voters who were tired of Trump. She dresses to appeal to them.
-one of her biggest supporters is the MLM industry, which is primarily women (including that now bankrupt legging company)
-she has always been someone who wants media attention, and she needs it more than ever because the Biden Administration is freezing her out because they are annoyed with her stances on various policies. These clothes are a great tool to stand out to media AND grab the attention of her base.
-she has always liked to play up her best features unabashedly- it’s part of her appeal to mostly male donors, they love it.

Signed,
A lobbyist who knew Sinema when she was in the house

Yeah, was she called in for an emergency while she was at her family fall photo shoot or what?

Sinema looks unbathed or hungover or just rolled out of bed some of those photos.

I hate Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ dresses and skirts—they are always too short! She could still wear above the knee but mid-thigh is not flattering at her age and in her position.

Agree. I think with her height she’s failing to buy specifically Tall sizes. She hasn’t figured that out yet for some reason.

The sleeve length tells the same story. It’s like it’s not meant to be 3/4. If I look closely, it appears to be fully long sleeved, she’s wearing it 3/4 by rolling it under???? Anyone else seeing that?

Please start a new thread for Sarah Huckabutt Sanders.

Nailed it. That’s a hayride outfit.

Good god. I wouldn’t wear that anywhere.

On a personal level I really hate Sarah Huckabee Sanders, but in terms of fashion she sometimes misses but usually looks fine and not controversial or even interesting. I’ve never seen anything inappropriate except this prairie dress but there’s probably a story like it was Dumbass Day or something to do with Arkansas.
