Is this appropriate for the community pool?

OP, for once, can’t even remember what other moms are wearing at our pool. If you were naked, I’d probably notice but can’t be sure. Your pics look fine.

Wear it, bring a cute coverup, read the vibe when you get there and if you feel comfortable, go for it.

Lots of policing from insecure women who clearly are afraid their husbands will give OP a second glance. Maybe these women gave up a long time ago and/or are projecting their insecurity into OP (99.998% of women have cellulite; many men do too.) OP, the people on this thread are delusional. It is neither progressive or particularly pro female to suggest anti suit arguments are reflective of "taliban" like thinking, or originate from "insecure" women who "gave up a long time ago" This is your view of women? Because it sounds pretty biased and I don't think you grasped the nuanced perspective of what people said and I think you are unaware of how antiquated you sound. You can't find a way to support her without sh$ttting on women who disagree with you? We're all hags? You returned to some of the ugliest, sextet tropes about women. Right...we are all envious old b#tches and afraid our husbands will be blinded by her hot body. I hate when this viewpoint comes up here and it does frequently. You have no data for this claim. She asked if it was appropriate and some felt it was not. That's it. That is not delusion, it's just a different opinion.

This X 1 million. I could care less if my husband looks at you. My only thought was that this style is impractical because wit will cause wedgies and lead us pulling and tugging . Really just another in a long line of bad trends from the fashion industry

I bought a tanktini, because something like this would feel odd to wear.

I’m not against others wearing it, though.

This year, I may also buy a bikini, because I want to try one out before I get too old.

Honest to god, one mom had swim capris? and a long sleeve rash guard at ours. It reminded me of those modesty suits the Duggars wear.

I wear more bc I feel strange being around the dads in what is basically underwear. For some reason, I’d feel fine at the beach but it would feel intense where I know a lot of people.

OP, have you thought about wearing pants and a tunic with your bathing suit?

Literally LOL @ women like you. Talking about others lack of confidence while betching to your husband about other women’s bathing suits lololol

Haha, I feel the same. I go to the beech in tiny bikinis but I feel weird at the pool because I feel like I'm in my underwear around all of my kid's friends and kid's friend's parents. But you do you OP. Here are some swimsuits I wear to the community pool and don't feel frumpy at all:

Are you trying to seduce the other dads? I can’t imagine this carrying any weight in my decision making process.

OP here. This is what I actually bought, but I look more like the other model, minus the flawless skin.

Will the knot on the bow bother your back when sitting or laying down? It would for me.

This clearly comes up near the navel. I don’t know why people find the back cut-out so scandalous. It doesn’t show crack.

Yes. Quite honestly it looks a bit diaper-like to me. I don’t understand how this is scandalous in the least.

Too much cheek for community pool, but great for the beach.

I think the “community” encompasses people who don’t want to entirely swath their asses in Lycra.

OP this is all about tolerance. You will get looks and be judged but if you have the confidence to not give a damn then wear it!

If on the other hand you won’t tolerate it well, don’t wear it.

What is the top like and are you super busty? If you are small busted I think some cheek is fine. But if you are a DDD spilling out of a tiny triangle too plus the cheeks, that would be too much (for me). But I wouldn’t judge any mom negatively for what she wore to the beach/pool while enjoying time with her kids.

This bottom is a lot better than the first one you posted. It has more coverage, that little bit makes a huge difference.
