Is this appropriate for the community pool?

I ordered a slightly different bikini than the one below, and the model on the photo had no bum at all, so I couldn't see that actually, on me, it looks more like this, but with less beautiful skin... Is that OK for your average community pool in this area?

I mean, I would be saying snarky things about your lack of confidence and need to show off your ass to bored dads and teenage boys, but you do whatever you want to, OP.

It would be noticeable at our pool! Most women wear pretty modest suits at our pool. But it's not offensive or anything, just know it will probably stand out and you'll have to be confident about that.

Everyone would be talking about you and EVERYONE would be checking you out. The women to snark and the men to ogle. It's a great beach cut but for the community pool....maybe choose a different bottom.

This suit isn't even a tiny bit scandalous. But the moms at DC area pools wear suits that even my grandma would think are too frumpy.

Way skimpier than the norm at our pool.

Ignore these negative posters, OP. It’s pretty obvious why they are reacting the way they are. That suit is perfectly fine for any pool.

NP: fat, old, and frumpy.

What?

OP that suit is fine. Many women at my "fancy" country club pool at all ages wear something like that.

Ignore the puritanical views. Be confident and don't let anyone tell you what to wear.

+1

Honest to god, one mom had swim capris? and a long sleeve rash guard at ours. It reminded me of those modesty suits the Duggars wear.

Why is that inappropriate? It’s not like it’s a thong or string bikini. If you look good wearing it, then go for it.

I think it is fine. I prefer to wear a more modest suit, myself, but there is no reason that you cannot wear that to a community pool.

I think it is fine and is totally in line with what majority of fashionable swimsuit brands are producing. Anything that doesn’t look like this is pretty much from Lands End. You are fine OP but yeah the dads will look

That looks like a totally normal bathing suit.
